Kate Brazier has revealed working out saved her during 'the hardest years of her life'.

The PR executive and her ex-husband Jeff confirmed the end of their seven-year marriage in November, having privately parted ways over the summer.

In an Instagram post on Friday showcasing her incredible physique, Kate explained how exercise has helped her get through some of her toughest times, despite the thought of the gym making her cry in the past.

She wrote: 'I get the p**s taken out of me every day for my daily workout photos, but I just don't care. A few years ago I was too full of self-doubt to even step foot in a gym, I would literally cry at the thought of going.

'Then, during the hardest years of my life, I decided to use the pain as fuel to show up for myself.

'Might just be a silly competition to some but putting myself in this situation (I was truly terrified) is a sign to me of how far I've come.'

Kate Brazier has revealed how working out saved her during 'the hardest years of her life' in a post shared on Instagram on Friday

Kate and her ex-husband Jeff confirmed the end of their seven-year marriage to the PR executive in November and revealed the couple had privately parted ways over the summer

She continued: 'And then we did sub an hour and fastest women. Our strength and resilience as humans never ceases to amaze me I have never been prouder. @lhart07 I am forever grateful that you got me through.'

The post comes just weeks after Kate hinted that she had started dating again, little more than two months after she and Jeff announced their separation.

Taking to Instagram, Kate shared a veiled post that hinted at a new dating philosophy and, potentially, a new man as she moves on from the separation.

It read: 'Date a dog girl. You don’t have to worry about them cheating cause all they do is work, train their dogs, blow all their money on their dogs and pass out early af.'

Evidently in agreement with the message, she wrote: 'Truth.'

Meanwhile, Freddy, currently serving as a part-time presenter on This Morning, shared his own message while working on location.

Sharing a photo of a picturesque coastline, he wrote: 'When you go from a relationship to single you have to get comfortable standing alone in that space was once shared. [sic]

'I find it helpful to remind often that 'I am enough.''

The presenter also shared photos of his travelling production team, with the accompanying message: 'I get to spend more time with these lovely people today.'

Brazier confirmed the separation publicly in November, admitting they had 'given everything and more' but realised they 'couldn't make it work.'

He told Instagram followers: 'I’m so full of love and gratitude for Kate. For all we achieved, for how much we grew, for everything we endured.

'We separated in the summer and kept it private for as long as we could to give us some time to adjust.'

Despite their formal split, Jeff spoke about his admiration for Kate, calling her 'a successful career woman who cared unconditionally' and expressing his pride in what they had built together.

Showcasing her incredible physique, Kate explained that exercise has only come as a passion later in life, as the thought of going to the gym would make her cry only a few years ago

He continued: 'For 12 years we have been each other's safe space, each other's biggest supporters at a time when our lives have been busy, painful & complex.

'I'm so proud of how hard we worked, how we kept showing up, we gave everything and more.

'I'm also so full of respect and admiration for the successful career Kate has built and the way she cared for me unconditionally.'

The former couple, who married in September 2018 after a decade together, first separated in 2022 before reconciling.

Brazier is a father to sons Freddy and Bobby from his first marriage to former Big Brother winner Jade Goody.

The TV personality tragically died in March 2009, at the age of 27, after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.
