Kanye West’s Calabasas ranch is in ruins, with the latest photos of the $2.2 million house showing it abandoned and in extreme disrepair.
It’s a far cry from the home enjoyed by the rapper’s ex wife Kim Kardashian, who has remained in the $60million family compound with the former couple’s four children since the one-time power couple split in 2021.
Kim’s Calabasas compound is just eight short miles from Kanye’s crumbling ranch, which was initially purchased in 2018 and used for Sunday Service and the rapper’s Donda Academy headquarters.
The star had also purchased an additional 300 acres surrounding the property for $4 million.

However, the latest images reveal that the home is still uninhabited and in disrepair, with one picture showing a large, gaping hole at the front entrance, leaving debris and pieces of the roof scattered on the ground.
Kanye reportedly lived on the property with his then-model girlfriend Irina Shayk as he turned the house into a bachelor pad.
There are reportedly two guest houses on the property with six bedroom and seven bathrooms altogether.
The domes on the property – which are now nonexistent – had been 50-foot ‘Yecosystems.’
West constructed the domes through the architecture branch of his Yeezy label, dubbed Yeezy Home, which he launched in 2018. ‘We’re looking for architects and industrial designers who want to make the world better,’ he said at the time.
In an interview with Forbes a year later, the rapper showed off the early versions of the domes, which he had conceived with a team of designers after being inspired by the fictitious planet of Tatooine from Star Wars.
He planned to build droves of the prefabricated structures as housing for the homeless, and even voiced ideas to sink them into the ground with light filtering through their roofs.

The rapper believed that he could build entire cities with the pods, and felt his ‘inspired’ plans would allow them to spring up across America.
Kanye bought the ranch when he was still married to Kim, with their divorce officially being finalized back in November 2022.
At the time of their divorce Kim reportedly negotiated a buyout price with Kanye in order to purchase the home they once shared in the gated community of Hidden Hills.
The couple bought the Calabasas mansion in 2014 for $20 million and Kanye led a complete redesign of home with the assistance of famed Belgian interior decorator Axel Vervoort, reportedly splashing another $20 million on the renovation.

‘Kim is trying to get Kanye to turn over the Calabasas house to her, because that’s where the kids are based and growing up,’ the insider said.

It was previously reported that Kanye and his new wife Bianca Censori, who he legalled married last year, were sharing an apartment in the West Hollywood section of Los Angeles where they were paying $20,000 per month in a luxury building.
The apartment is reportedly a quick drive from his company Yeezy’s headquarters in the city.
The building’s amenities include ‘heated pool, rooftop café, private cinema, valet, a bar and lounge area and 24-hour concierge service,’ reported Page Six in May.

He enlisted in the help of architect Tadao Ando and brought in top contractors to oversee the extensive remodeling plans.
But construction on Kanye’s $60 million Malibu mansion was halted last year after the rapper dissolved his construction company that was handling the project amid his financial problems due to his public antisemitic remarks.
Malibu neighbors told TMZ in April 2023 his mansion was ‘left to rot’ and that they had not ‘seen anyone around for many months.’
His antisemitic rants also led to the loss of about $1.6 billion of his net worth and he fell off Forbes’ billionaires list, CBS News recently reported.
West also owns land in Calabasas,as well as a sprawling ranch in Wyoming where he spent much of his time in the final days of his marriage to Kim.
