Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan have revealed the next major step in their relationship after first meeting on Love Island in 2023.
The couple, who won the show’s winter series in March last year, revealed they are ready to move out of their flat and hope to get onto the property ladder by buying a house together.
Kai also explained he is ‘working towards’ proposing to Sanam and hopes the pair will have a family in the near future.
He told OK! Magazine: ‘If we weren’t working towards an engagement, marriage, and kids, not necessarily in that order, then we wouldn’t be in the right relationship.’
It comes after the couple packed on the PDA as Kai spoilt Sanam for Valentine’s Day earlier this year.

The reality star decorated their home with several red heart balloons and scattered rose petals on a table.
The couple enjoyed champagne over a candle lit dinner and were seen kissing while posing for a photo.
Sanam looked sensational in a figure hugging red gown while Kai looked dapper in a black tuxedo.
Sanam gushed: ‘Words can’t express the love and gratitude I feel right now, thank you for always going above and beyond to show your love to me.
‘The time and effort you’ve put into doing this means the world ❤️ I’m grateful for you and everything we have together. I’ve always wanted to experience this and I can’t believe I’m able to share this moment with you!
‘(P.s. the only photo I like of us has a chair front and centre of the pic soz for the unaesthetic photo lol)’
Kai replied: ‘Love you forever and ever’.
Sanam and Kai became the first non-white couple to win the show in Love Island’s ten-year run after they connected during the Casa Amor loyalty test.
They also made history by Sanam being the only Casa Amor bombshell to go all the way in the competition after viewers fell in love with the pair’s story, seeing that their romance was genuine.
And their relationship has thrived since leaving the villa, with Sanam saying the couple aren’t in any rush to move in together but it already feels like they do due to the amount of time they spend in each other’s company.
Now Kai has said how he is ‘working towards’ proposing to Sanam in the future and how hopes the pair will have a family
