Ahead of embarking on her tour in late August, the Grammy-winning musician, 37, quietly canceled her shows in three major U.S. cities and has not yet publicly addressed the move.
This week - just days after for her song Honey - fans received email notifications from Ticketmaster informing them of the cancellations.
Musgraves's canceled shows include: her original opening night on August 20; the Boston show on August 29 and the Brooklyn concert on September 2.
She was originally scheduled to kick off the North American leg of her tour in Chicago on August 20 and wrap up with two nights in Seattle at the end of October.
In total, she had been preparing to hit up 25 cities over 29 dates in North America before heading overseas.
