Justin Timberlake not interested in NSYNC 25th anniversary tour in 2025

*NSYNC founder Chris Kirkpatrick was directly confronted Monday about whether or not his eight-time Grammy-nominated boyband would be staging a stadium summer tour next year in honor of their 25th anniversary.

‘I’ll tell you what. We’re all in New York right now because we’re putting… no, I’m kidding!’ the 52-year-old countertenor singer joked to New York Living.

‘We’re all talking again as you’ve seen some of the stuff we’ve done together lately. We have [two] new songs, which is a lot different than the last 20 or so years that we haven’t been together. So there’s a lot. There’s a lot we’re talking about. Nothing in stone yet…When we know, you’ll know.’

Chris added: ‘I am [down], yeah. I’m doing to Pop 2000 [Tour] now, which is basically me by myself without those guys, so I miss them. We’re all buds. We’re all good friends.’

Kirkpatrick wasn’t kidding about the Big Apple as Lance Bass shared a snap of himself at ZZ’s Club New York on Monday night after TMZ reported he was the one who coordinated a meeting Monday to ‘discuss the future of the band.’

The outlet also claimed that Justin Timberlake ‘and his team have yet to address respective proposals’ from four months ago about the potential tour, and the other boybanders are ‘disappointed with his radio silence.’

The troubled 43-year-old pop star is reportedly ‘solely focused’ on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which he next brings to Poland’s Tauron Arena in Kraków this Friday.

Friday also happens to be the same day as Justin’s next court hearing for one charge of driving while intoxicated, and infractions for running a stop sign and failure to keep in his lane stemming from his June 18 DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, NY.

Timberlake’s lawyer Edward Burke Jr. told TMZ on June 19: ‘[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.’

Chris, JC, Joey, and Lance have every right to be salty about the Selfish singer’s reluctance considering they helped promote his 2023 movie Trolls Band Together with their new single Better Place and his album Everything I Thought It Was with their new single Paradise.

*NSYNC last reunited on March 13 to debut Paradise during Justin’s tour stop at The Wiltern in Los Angeles – a rousing performance that certainly felt like momentum building towards a big announcement which never arrived.

‘I can actually say, “You know what? That’s a possibility — 2025, that’s a possibility.” But, there’s four of the guys I have to talk to about that,’ Fatone – who’s currently on tour with Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean – explained to Yahoo Entertainment on October 3.
