Jill Zarin’s plastic surgeon is opening up about the work she recently had done to her face.
According to Dr. Ira Savetsky — the husband of former Real Housewives Of New York star Lizzy Savetsky — Jill underwent a facelift, chin implant and fat transfer to obtain a ‘more youthful look.’
On Monday, the plastic surgeon spoke with Page Six, detailing how the 60-year-old reached out to him in hopes of fixing her ‘jowling, sagging neck skin,’ among other superficial issues.
‘To address these concerns, I designed a personalized facial rejuvenation plan,’ Dr. Savetsky revealed. ‘The procedure included a dual plane lower facelift and neck lift, which involved repositioning both the skin and underlying muscles to achieve a more youthful look.’
He added, ‘To enhance her profile, I placed a small chin implant.’

The surgeon, who’s the husband of former RHONY star Lizzy Savetsky, helped Jill, 60, fix her ‘jowling, sagging neck skin,’ among other superficial issues
The doctor also explained that the fat transfer was performed in order to ‘restore volume to her midface, temples, earlobes and hands.’
As for how the RHONY alum’s recovery has been going, Dr. Savetsky said Zarin was doing ‘exceptionally well.’
‘She has minimal bruising and swelling, and I expect her results to continue improving over the next several weeks as the swelling subsides,’ he shared.
Jill took to Instagram earlier this month to given an update on her post-surgery progress.
With her head wrapped in a bandage, she told followers, ‘I’ve been a little bit of MIA, although I’m trying to post here and there. And I’m bravely sharing that I had a lower facelift and some other minor tweaks.’
Jill continued, ‘I live my life openly and freely and that’s why I did a reality show and I think it’s important for people who do reality shows to be honest.’
She explained that she is opening up on social media because ‘I just want to share my story and my journey.
‘I have no filter on. I’m at The Ritz-Carlton. It’s drop dead. If you’re going to recover, recover in a nice hotel,’ the GOAT star revealed before giving a shout-out to Dr. Savetsky. ‘I have the most incredible doctor who has visited me one or two times a day, including the first night of surgery, which is like unheard of, just to make sure I am okay.’
‘To address these concerns, I designed a personalized facial rejuvenation plan,’ the surgeon revealed. ‘The procedure included a dual plane lower facelift and neck lift, which involved repositioning both the skin and underlying muscles’
Jill noted that she had a fat transfer from her leg to her hands, which she said she previously ‘hate[d]’
Jill also told fans, ‘I had drains. They’ve been removed. I look more human. If I took this off, I would look a lot more human. But I just wanted to share my story and my journey. I will show the evolution of the real before, the day of, and the following days.’
One qualm about her recovery was that she was ‘very tired’ after her procedure.
‘The other thing is I had fat transplant put into my hands because I hate my hands. And the worst part was the lipo coming out of my leg to fill my hands,’ she added. ‘Believe it or not, that’s the most pain I’ve had.’
She concluded by telling her fans: ‘If you don’t do that, you’re fine. No real pain. But I am tired — could be from the anesthesia.’
Jill dove into why she opted for extensive plastic facial rejuvenation in her video caption.
‘I’m back! Sort of? After watching myself on The GOAT on Amazon video, ( by the way I killed it this week!!) I decided I needed a lower face lift,’ she wrote. ‘I also hated my hands and he added fat from my legs. They look amazing ! My Dr. visited me the first night post op which made me feel 1000 times better and then 8am and 8pm Saturday and 8 AM Sunday to remove the drainage so I don’t have to go to his office until Friday to remove most of the stitches.’
Comparing her doctor to others, Jill added, ‘Every surgeon has different techniques, medications and bedside manner. All of them are critical to ask about to have a successful outcome. I will continue to share updates.’
Dr. Saventsky took to the comments section to praise his patient, writing, ‘You look amazing just days after surgery! And love your transparency! And thank you for your kind words.’
