Jeff Brazier Regains Self-Respect After Family Split

has told fans that he has found his 'mental strength, self-respect and confidence' following his split from wife Kate.

The TV personality, 46, opened up about how he'd dealing with the separation, which was announced in November after seven years of marriage, as well as his fall out with youngest son Freddy, 21. 

Last year Jeff, who is also father to Bobby, 22, sought legal action to stop Freddy from seeing his maternal grandmother  amid rising concerns over his well-being, before dropping the case.

In his empowering post Jeff revealed he had embraced a healthier lifestyle after accepting there was 'no easy way out' of feeling sad and lost amid his personal woes.

Alongside a video of himself strolling along the beach he penned: 'I’ve been patient. Finding your feet after a separation seemingly takes ages so accepting that there is no easy way out of those feelings and concentrating on myself is paying off'.

'I’ve focussed on the little things.. Daily habits in my routine like meditation, exercise, cacao, min 7 hours sleep, Journalling, gratitude, walking etc. keeping these little promises with myself has helped me build up self-trust'.

He continued: 'I’ve hit the gym..Building physical strength also builds mental strength, self-respect and confidence, things that can take a knock when you’re doubting if you’re going to be enough on your own.

'Doing things that remind me who I am.. Going back to coaching, finding a new home for the walks, making plans to become a men’s work facilitator, going out dancing! Helping others, being proud, competence breads confidence and a sense of identity'.

'I’ve been honest with myself.. There have been so many ugly moments of doubt, insecurity and pain and I haven’t distracted myself to avoid going through these desolate patches. I’ve sat in the sadness when it was time to grieve instead of deflecting or avoiding'.

Jeff said: 'I’ve found new types of support..Deepening my journey into men’s work has offered me an outlet that really works for me, ironically it was the last place I’d have ever allowed myself to look before but I’m finding it particularly helpful!'

'I’ve fully accepted what I do not control.. I used to pressure myself to be the answer to family issues and I’ve finally given myself permission to release that sense of responsibility which has been quite freeing. Always a support, not necessarily the solution.

Jeff, previously revealed his and Kate's marriage broke down over summer after they discovered they couldn't make each other happy. 

Freddy was recently seen putting on a united front with girlfriend Holly as they . 

However earlier this month Freddy reportledy moved out of the couple's home before escaping to Gran Canaria after the new mum was said to refused to allow his grandmother, , an opportunity to meet their daughter.

It comes after it was claimed model had left the family home following the disagreement after he was pictured arriving at Jackiey's flat with a bag.

It was believed the couple had separated for a second time just weeks after welcoming their baby daughter. 

According to The Sun, Freddy then travelled to the Canary Islands, while Holly remained in the UK with their child. 

A source told the publication: 'It's a bitter blow for Holly after their row and shows he's doubled down.

'They have unfollowed each other on Instagram and Holly is especially furious he has left her and their baby so soon after the birth.

'It's not how she imagined her first weeks of motherhood would be.'
