The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman alum took to Instagram to share a look into the latest festivity held at The Vintage Club in California's Indian Wells, an upscale resort city 15 miles outside Palm Springs.

Seymour, who looked radiant in a form-fitting pink frock, was joined by a group of friends who cheered her on at the exclusive golf club where the chef presented her with what appeared to be a Baked Alaska cake. The dessert features a layer of sponge cake and a dome of ice cream and is covered in lightly toasted meringue.

'Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?' the actress playfully asked her followers alongside a photo of the sweet presentation.

'When a room comes together to celebrate and a cake like this appears, you simply enjoy the moment.

'Such a fun time at @thevintageclub,' wrote Seymour - who recently revealed what she does to maintain her fit figure and youthful appearance - before asking fans in her usual way, 'What’s your ultimate celebration dessert?'

Seymour, whose actual birthday was February 15, shared another photo of just herself standing on an outdoor terrace overlooking a lush garden and mountains and blue sky dotted with puffs of white cloud.

'The blooms remind me that we are always evolving. The mountains remind me that we endure. Both are necessary. Both are beautiful,' Seymour waxed philosophically in the caption.

'As I begin another year, I’m deeply grateful for the journey and the people who make it meaningful. Thank you all for your support and birthday love. What has helped you grow stronger lately?'

Earlier in the month, Seymour got the birthday celebrating started by jetting to Mustique and St. Barts for a sun-drenched getaway with her boyfriend, Dr. John Zambetti, 76, an ER doctor and musician.

On the day of her birthday last Sunday, Seymour appeared to be staying put in Malibu where she resides in a luxurious ocean-view home.

'I start the day with coffee and hard boiled eggs for protein, and it isn't till later, around lunch time, that I have a full meal because then I can really enjoy it.

'I love fish and vegetables, and grow many greens in my back yard which I love to use.'
