has come under fire for posting a video of his six-month-old son Ziggy travelling in the back of a car without being properly secured.

The clip shows his wife , 31, cradling Ziggy as they travelled down a road, but he wasn't secured in a car seat or baby seat. Sophie also wasn't wearing her seat belt it appeared.

While it's not known where the clip was taken, in the UK, children must be secured in an approved car seat with an internal harness until they reach 12 years old or 135 cm tall.

However the Government website states that the rules differ for children under three if they are travelling in a taxi - which the family appear to be doing in this case.

It states: 'If the driver does not provide the correct child car seat, children can travel without one - but only if they travel on a rear seat.'

After comments pointed out the lack of seat belt in the clip, Jamie deleted that section of the montage and uploaded it to Instagram again without that part in.

After the clip was uploaded again one comment underneath read: 'Nice to see you have removed the irresponsible clip with Sophie holding the baby in the car, without a carseat or even her seatbelt on. It would be wise to address the elephant in the room and maybe admit you have been irresponsible and will take more care going forward... I really hope you do, as no baby or child deserves to die in a crash.'

Another read: 'I'm so thankful you posted the original unedited video before this. I'm hoping it made you realise how utterly irresponsible you have been. Your baby has no voice to question you when you travel without a baby seat OR a seatbelt.'

A representative for Jamie has been contacted by the Daily Mail for comment.

It comes after earlier this month Sophie took to Instagram with a slew of sun-soaked snaps from her first family holiday with husband and Ziggy.

It came after  revealed her husbandtearfully begged her for sex just three weeks after giving birth, following the pair remaining almost celibate through her pregnancy.

Speaking on their NewParents podcast, Jamie admitted being disappointed by the lack of sex he was receiving after he and Sophie returned home from hospital.

'I thought we were going to go back to normal as a couple and being a bit frisky with each other' to which she replied: 'When have we ever been frisky with each other?'.

While Jamie exclaimed that they were 'frisky' at the beginning of her pregnancy, Sophie snapped back: 'We were celibate for a whole year during my pregnancy, we did it twice during the whole year.'

She then went on to  how Jamie was 'literally crying' and insisted their lack of intimacy was 'not normal' after the new mum refused to have sex.

'Jamie at three weeks was like "We need to have sex, this is not normal, please Sophie I've waited a year" literally crying and stamped your little arms and legs and said you'd waited a year'.

She went on: 'Firstly I actually physically cannot, I have stitches all over me down there. Secondly, I have to be signed off by the doctor and you were like "oh, that's bulls***, it's always an excuse with you, you don't have to be signed off by the doctor".

Sophie said that she was so furious she forced her husband to phone the doctor for him to clarify that what she was saying was the truth.

Jamie giggled: 'Sophie said "I'm not having sex with you because I've just had my stomach ripped open and I've got stitches everywhere, I have our son sucking on my nipple every single day, I'm tired, I'm exhausted, I'm floored, the last thing I want is you breathing on me, get out of here"'.
