James Norton looked almost unrecognisable as he debuted his raven locks for a Netflix screening of Joy at London’s Soho House on Monday.
The Happy Valley actor, 39, who usually sports light brown curly hair, commanded attention at the event as he stepped out with jet-black hair styled into a splitting bowl cut.
In keeping with his new trendy look, James, who stars at Robert in the new flick, paired his new do with an oversized black jumper which he layered over a pair of loose-fitting jeans.
To finish his relaxed fit, he slipped into a pair of sensible brown leather boots.
He posed confidently at the screening alongside his co-star Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, who plays Jean Purdy in the drama movie.

Thomasin put on a sparkly show for the evening, commanding attention in a little black dress adorned with silver stud detailing.
Dressing for the autumnal season, she paired her mini dress with a matching jacket.
Adding inches to her fabulous figure, Thomasin slipped into a pair of towering strappy heels which were tied with a bow.
And while leading star Billy Nighy was seemingly missing from the glitzy evening, other stars including artist Charlotte Colbert made an appearance.
Charlotte looked trendy in an oversized leather-sleeved jacket, baggy trousers and a pair of leather boots.
Hannah Vaughan Jones turned heads at the event as she wore a hot pink two-piece pantsuit.
Richard E. Grant cut a relaxed fit in a padded coat and jeans, while Rachel Mason showcased her fashion sense in a nude and black ensemble.
Rhoda Ofori-Attah brought a pop of colour to the event as she wore a bright orange, which was printed with stars and moons, for the evening.

Based on a true story, Joy follows three pioneering British scientists in the ’60s and ’70s and their struggle to develop IVF — against all odds. It will hit the streaming platform on November, 22, 2024.
Joy tells the remarkable true story behind the birth of Louise Joy Brown in 1978, the world’s first ‘test-tube baby,’ and the tireless 10-year journey to make it possible.
The film is told through the perspective of Jean Purdy, a young nurse and embryologist who joined forces with scientist Robert Edwards and surgeon Patrick Steptoe to unlock the puzzle of infertility by pioneering IVF.
Thomasin plays Jean Purdy, James stars as Robert, while Bill takes on the role of Patrick.
