The 28-year-old actor was spotted striding through Brisbane Airport when he appeared to flip the bird, offering a blunt gesture that was worlds away from the dashing gentleman he plays in his new film Wuthering Heights.
Dressed in a bold, custom-made BODE mustard-yellow jacket splashed with floral and graphic prints, Jacob paired the look with dark sunglasses and jeans as he carried his bag through the terminal.
But it was his raised middle finger that did most of the talking – a pointed response as he made his way through arrivals.
He cut a striking figure in his statement jacket and dark shades, projecting effortless movie-star cool as he strode through the bustling terminal.

The moment stood in stark contrast to the polished image Jacob has been presenting on the film’s press tour alongside co-star Margot Robbie, where the pair have been leaning heavily into the gothic romance of their latest project.

Jacob has taken on the role of the brooding antihero Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell's adaptation of Wuthering Heights, with Margot starring as Catherine Earnshaw.
It comes after Jacob took his embodiment of his leading man Heathcliff to new heights as he showed off a surprise new accessory at the Sydney premiere of Wuthering Heights on Thursday.
The actor has taken on the role of the brooding antihero in Emerald Fennell's adaptation of the iconic Emily Bronte novel.
And while joining his co-star Margot Robbie on the Australian red carpet, Jacob shared that he'd added a gold tooth to his look, in a nod to Heathcliff's gentlemanly transformation in the film.

The Euphoria star opted for a sharp blue double-breasted suit as he posed for photos at the premiere.
Meanwhile, Margot looked radiant in a flowing off-shoulder ivory gown, featuring a structured, boned corset bodice that cinched her silhouette perfectly.
She added a romantic touch with sheer tulle sleeves and a mermaid-style flowing skirt layered with delicate tulle that moved gracefully with each step - a modern nod to the gothic romance of her latest movie.
The new version of Wuthering Heights will see Margot and Jacob star as the tragic lovers Heathcliff and Catherine, and it hits cinemas on February 13, just in time for Valentine's Day.
