Deppeler, 41, known to listeners as 'Intern Pete', has worked as a producer, reporter and occasional presenter for KIIS FM for more than a decade.
The affable radio star was in good spirits despite the seemingly escalating clash between and Kyle Sandilands, who were notably absent at the celebration.
KIIS FM staff put on a brave face and rallied around Deppeler to help him celebrate his birthday, presenting the talent manager with a cake.
The radio star, who was also joined by his sister and former ABC 744 reporter Kate Meade, seemed genuinely chuffed with the gesture.

A video uploaded to Instagram shows a KIIS staff member presenting Pete with a tempting cake as colleagues enthusiastically sing Happy Birthday.
He was lost for words when the assembled revellers called for Pete to deliver a speech.

The montage, which Pete shared to Instagram on Wednesday, shows him loudly farting in a KIIS FM elevator.

'Filmed myself farting every day for a few months,' he wrote next to the footage.
Many of Deppeler's celebrity friends took to the comments section to praise his unconventional method of dealing with the end of his show.
