He’s just days away from entering the Celebrity Big Brother house when the star-studded version of the ITV show returns to screens on Monday.
And most people already know Jack P Shepherd as Coronation Street’s David Platt – a role he has held for the last 25 years since 2000.
However, fans may not be as familiar with the 35-year-old actor’s real life off-screen, as he’s set to marry his glamorous fiancée Hanni Treweek just months after his stint in the iconic house.
Jack and Hanni, 32, who was a colleague of the star’s as a storyline writer and researcher on Corrie, will tie the knot on July 26 of this year.
But before their relationship began, the actor’s love life was almost as tumultuous as his on-screen storylines – including a cheating scandal and love child.

Jack and his long-term girlfriend Hanni got engaged during a romantic safari holiday in the Serengeti in June 2024.
At the time, the couple posed for loved-up snaps in their safari getups to announce the happy news on social media.
Flashing her sparkling engagement ring, Hannah beamed for the camera before kissing her new fiancé.
Captioning the snaps, she gushed: ‘05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!’
Jack and Hanni have been dating since 2017, after meeting on the soap when she worked in the press office.
She later became a storyliner on the ITV show, before quitting to work as a fashion influencer.
Despite being colleagues, their romance actually began when Jack impressed Hanni at a mutual friend’s wedding.
Speaking to OK! Magazine in 2020, Jack recalled: ‘Then our mutual friends got married and we were both guests at the wedding.
‘We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks and we flirted. That was it.’

The duo then later bumped into each other once again in a Sainsbury’s, which led to an exchange of texts and a blossoming romance.
He told The Daily Star: ‘I texted her afterwards and said ‘that was awkward’ and she told me she thought she looked a mess and then we started texting from there.
‘I actually thought she looked fit – I just saw the girl I fancy wearing Lycra! We quickly went on our first date and we just clicked.’
In 2018, the couple went public with their relationship and Jack gushed that Hanni was his ‘soulmate’ in another interview with OK! Magazine.
He went on to discuss their next steps during an appearance on Loose Women in 2020 during a chat about marriage.
Jack said: ‘I think it is only sensible really to have those sorts of conversations with a partner or someone that you’re dating even if you’re going out for like a few months, as soon as you know it’s serious.’
Hanni added: ‘I think we fell quite quickly and from that we just clicked, and we were on the same page, and you do have those conversations but yeah I think we would like to… in the future.’
Now, the couple are stronger than ever and are in the midst of wedding planning with their big day just months away.
Last month, Hanni shared a loved-up picture of the couple along with the caption: ‘Love wedding planning with you, a cute lil wednesday evening menu tasting for the big day.’

Before his relationship with Hanni, Jack was engaged to ex Lauren Shippey, who he had been dating since he was 14 and shares two children with – Nyla and Reuben.
However, in 2010 their relationship hit the rocks when the Coronation Street actor had an affair that led to a pregnancy.
Lauren threw the actor out of the house after he cheated on her and fathered another child called Greyson following a one-night stand with sales executive Sammy Milewski.
It is understood that Jack does not have a parental relationship with Greyson other than to pay maintenance, according to The Sun.
After the scandal, Jack and Lauren got back together and he even proposed to her with a £3,000 ring after issuing a public apology.
He said at the time: ‘On Sunday, there were some articles printed about errors I have made in my private life.
‘Over the years, I have enjoyed a successful career with Coronation Street, and with this, I have experienced privileges that have exceeded my own expectations.

‘I would like to apologise to my family, for all the hurt and pain I have caused them, to ITV Granada for letting them down, and especially to Lauren and Nyla, who are the most important people in my life.
‘I now need to concentrate on what is really important, my family and my career, as I have abused my position as an employee, partner and father, and for that I am deeply sorry.’
The couple then got back together, before eventually splitting again in 2017 after 15 years together.
Speaking of his upcoming appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, a TV insider told The Sun: ‘The two lads are great mates, and Colson [Smith] no doubt told Jack he’d have the time of his life on the show.
‘Jack will be making the most of a gap in appearing on Corrie, which comes as he’s about to be at the centre of a huge storyline on the ITV soap.
‘His character David will be seen getting left for dead after being hit by a car on the cobbles – but it will transpire it’s actually a bizarre attempt to end his own life.’
