An iconic noughties group are set to go on a ‘massive tour’ two decades after they performed a controversial show that forced an apology to the Beckhams.
Legendary Welsh comedy group Goldie Lookin Chain (GLC) first took the hip hop scene by storm in 2000 and are set to embark on a UK tour, ‘Still Safe As F**k’.
And despite the group not reaching the charts since 2005, some of their venues are already sold out as they flog their tickets for as little as £26.20.
The tour is advertised as 18+ as many of their biggest hits are laced with play-on jokes, sexual references and strong language.
They will start their tour on September 5, as they will make their tour debut at Manchester Academy and finish on November 29 in Blackpool Bootleg Social.
Announcing the news on Instagram, the seven-member group penned ‘massive tour’ alongside a clip as they released the 17 dates of the tour.

In the video, the members said: ‘Now, GLC, Goldie Lookin Chain, are going on a massive worldwide tour in 2025.
‘Yeah, huge tour, we’re going on tour, GLC. All over the UK, massive, all the best places. GLC, You knows it. Word.’
Members of the group include Rhys from GLC, Graham Bear, Billy Webb, Tom Clugston, John Rutledge, Adam Hussain, Mike Balls, Mystikal and 2Hats.
Their biggest hit was Guns Don’t Kill People Rappers Do, which peaked at no 3 UK charts.
And while they have seen success with a few of their hits, it was their song Your Missus Is a Nutter from their Safe as F**k album that landed them in hot water.
In 2005, the group was asked by the Football Association of Wales (FAW) to perform before a qualifying match for Wales in the World Cup against England.
But as they belted out the comically intended hit, they dedicated it to David Beckham’s wife, Victoria.
This appalled the FAW as they confessed there was ‘a basic lack of respect’ and did not see the dedication as a joke.

At the time, FAW secretary general David Collins said: ‘I would like to go on record as issuing a public apology to David Beckham and the English FA, and say this is a matter the Welsh FA are treating with great importance.
‘People may say it was meant as a joke and maybe we’re being fuddy-duddies. But we don’t see it like that. There was a basic lack of respect involved here.
‘We couldn’t do much too much about the booing of the English national anthem, other than to implore Welsh supporters to respect it.
‘But we can most certainly stop the sort of nonsense that David Beckham had to put up with before the game from happening again.’
In response, the group defended their actions and claimed they were misunderstood and the move was an ‘act of friendship’.
At the time, a spokesperson for the group said: ‘The Beckhams should be honoured that we dedicated our performance to them, as an act of friendship and respect.

Your Misses Is A Nutter became a success at the time as the song peaked at 14 in UK charts and was in the charts for six weeks.
The group will also visit places such as Nottingham, Newcastle, Hull, Oxford, and Southampton as part of the list of nationwide concerts.
The Safe As F**k album also consists of songs including, Bad Boy Limp, Charmschool, Dog, HRT and Monkey Love.
