Ice-T seems to have a new job.
On Monday the 66-year-old actor was seen working behind the counter of a restaurant.
This comes after the New Jersey native appeared in the season 25 finale of Law & Order: SVU where he played Detective Fin Tutuola for 24 years.
Ice had on a red T-shirt that said Cane’s as he stood in front of a cash register where he welcomed shocked customers.
But the move was only a promoting for the fried chicken chain Raising Cane’s.

‘Recently, Ice T also added Raising Cane’s Fry Cook & Cashier to his list of accomplishments and is at the front counter – making this National Iced Tea Day twICE as nICE!’ the release also said.
‘It’s the national holiday celebrating me – and Cane’s iced tea – and it’s great to be working with Cane’s again on one of my favorite holidays,’ said Ice T.
‘There are two versions of iced tea: one is sweet and one is unsweet. Both are great at Cane’s, but you only want the sweet version of Ice T!’
During his ‘shift’ at Raising Cane’s in Astor Place, Ice T surprised unsuspecting fans and customers by popping up with a perfectly filled cup when they ordered iced tea.
This comes after he said he learned by accident his fate on L&O.

Now the rapper has revealed how he learned his character would be getting shot once again.
Speaking with People, the actor, 66, revealed his castmates alerted him to the scene before he was able to finish reading the script.
‘I was reading the pages. I didn’t know. So I’m here in the script, and everybody’s like, ‘You’re getting shot!’ I’m like, ‘What?’ That could be BAD,’ he recounted.
His character, Fin, fortunately survived. ‘I lived through it,’ he added.

Ice-T’s character was shot in the season 25 finale after a boy whose father was in jail confronted Fin outside his home.
The youngster approaches Fin with a gun and the duo end up fighting over the weapon before it ends up firing, hitting Ice-T’s character.
It’s not the first time Fin has been shot in the series – his character was also wounded back in season six.
The star of the hit series has previously shared his concerns over potentially getting killed off.
During a recent interview with co-star Mariska Hargitay, he admitted he was anxious to see if his character would survive season 25.
‘So when I get the script, I’m just looking at it making sure I didn’t get shot and bleed out. But I don’t know the arc of the season,’ he told Entertainment Weekly.
‘He just wants to make sure he doesn’t die,’ Mariska chimed in with a laugh.
‘I want to make sure I don’t die. I got shot in this episode [in season 6], and as soon as I read it, I went like this, Mariska. [Ice-T pretends to frantically flip through an imaginary script in front of him, all the way to the end],’ Ice-T described.
‘I was like… ‘Oh, wow… I’m alive!’ So we just didn’t know how the deck was going to get shuffled at this point. Mariska is now out there, she has no partner. Who’s going to be her partner?’ he added.

The rapper has been playing Odafin ‘Fin’ Tutuola since 2000.
Fin also made appearances in the newer spin-off, Law & Order: Organized Crime, which was recently renewed for a fifth season.
A spinoff of the original Law & Order series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit originally premiered in September of 1999.
The Dick Wolf–created show, which stars Mariska as Olivia Benson and Ice-T as Sergeant Odafin ‘Fin’ Tutuola, has since surpassed the episode count of its predecessor, and it has become one of the longest-running programs in television history.
The program’s newest season premiered in January, and NBC celebrated the show’s 25th anniversary by temporarily changing Rockefeller Plaza’s name to Olivia Benson Plaza.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’s 25th season was also the shortest in the show’s history, as it only lasted 13 episodes. It will be returning for a 26th season.
Law & Order ran for 20 seasons until its original cancellation, which took place in 2010. It was revived for a 21st season in 2021.
