Ice Spice has hit back at accusations she used Ozempic to lose weight

The rapper, 26, has looked noticeably slimmer in recent years and she has now revealed her weight loss was down to depression (pictured in 2023)

They wrote: 'Depression is no joke ♥️ glad you're feeling better and you look amazing!!'... 'We love you so much Isis.'

'I love you sister & i'm glad you're doing better'... 'This was when she had a hate train on her too damn. Sorry they treated you like that Ice.'

Ice first hit back at rumours she had taken Ozempic - a weekly injection for type 2 diabetes which also aids in weight loss - in 2024.

Taking to X, she wrote: 'I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic. That's one thing I wish. Oh my God, like, what even is Ozempic? What the f**k is that? Genuinely, what is that?'

At the time, the star said her busy tour schedule was what led to her losing weight.

She wrote: 'Like, you lazy ass b*****s never heard of a gym? It's called the gym. It's called eating healthy. It's called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big.'

It comes after Ice previously revealed the advise Taylor Swift gave her after they worked together on the singer's tour.

Ice not only spent time on stage with Taylor, 35, but sang with her on the remixed single Karma, introducing the song at the Eras Tour concert in East Rutherford, NJ.

As a relative newcomer to the music industry, the Phat Butt artist was able to take in a lot from the winner just by being around her.

'The thing about Taylor is that she keeps it so real,' the singer said in an interview with Nylon magazine.

'Not even kidding, but one of the biggest things that I always think about that Taylor said is 'As long as you keep making music, everything's going to be fine,'' she told the outlet.

That's not to say Ice is being mentored whenever she sees the newly engaged artist.

'Every time we hang out, she's not just giving me advice, you know what I mean? We're talking about the food we're eating or whatever's going on in the moment,' she explained.

Ice said the advice has come in useful 'Whenever I'm feeling doubtful or not as confident,' or 'having writer's block.'

'No matter what it is, things like that really, really stand out to me,' she asserted, adding, 'She said that to me a few years ago, and it still stood with me.'

Swift has praised Ice, born Isis Gaston, as 'the one to watch' for her work ethic and as a 'brilliant artist,' for her body of work.

The two have maintained their friendship since their Karma remix.
