Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott finally went public with their romance on Tuesday, with the pair spotted on a lunch date at Soho Beach House in Malibu.
The One Direction singer, 33, and Love Island star, 28, are said to have been putting a smile on each other’s faces lately after they struck up a romance last month.
Yet body language expert Judi James has revealed not all is as it seems when it comes to the new couple, telling MailOnline that currently the pair are not equally as smitten.
Judi revealed that Louis appeared to be the type to ‘fall in love quickly’, in contrast to ‘cautious’ Zara.
She explained: ‘Louis looks like a guy with little emotional filter when it comes to revealing his romantic feelings for Zara in public.
‘His body language suggests an optimistic man who might fall in love quickly and heavily, thanks to his sweet, teen-on-a-first-date displays.’

Judi continued: ‘He epitomizes keenness and excitement here, throwing his hand out towards Zara to instigate the romantic handclasp and then using it to tow her along with a look of pride.
‘The angle of his shoulders suggests a slight swagger to his walk, which in turn suggests some mild peacocking here.
‘The way he looks around to smile and communicate suggests display of open happiness with maybe a desire to brag a little, too. His smile is open-mouthed and uncomplicated, lacking any suppression signals.
‘Zara looks more like the cooler, calmer partner here, suggesting she might be the adult in the room or the more cautious one taking longer to commit.
‘At one point she stands with her arms folded looking more wary and reluctant in terms of open PDAs here.’
Louis and Zara first sparked romance rumours in March when a fellow diner at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh spotted the couple on a date.
The pair then inadvertently revealed they had travelled to the States together when Louis and Zara both took to their social media while watching Stereophonics at The Wiltern theatre in LA .
The new couple shared videos from the same area in the theatre just minutes apart, with Zara tagging the venue and band.
Their relationship already appears to be getting off to a strong start as the singer has reportedly introduced the stunner to his family after enjoying a handful of dates together.

After working for the Department for Education as a policy advisor, Zara found fame when she appeared on the fourth series of Love Island in 2018.
