She is Jennifer Grant, the daughter of movie stars Cary Grant and Dyan Cannon.

Jennifer had a large diamond on her wedding finger and was also .

Jennifer was Cary's only child. 

Dashing Cary starred in the box-office hits The Awful Truth (1937), Bringing Up Baby (1938), His Girl Friday (1940) and The Philadelphia Story (1940). 

And he was known for sharing the screen with beautiful women such as Grace Kelly in To Catch A Thief and Ingrid Bergman in Notorious. 

Cannon, who is now 89-years-old, also had success as she co-starred with Beatty in Heaven Can Wait and with Connery in The Anderson Tapes. 

Grant and Cannon married in Las Vegas in 1965.  Grant was born in 1966 in Burbank, California.

After her birth, her father stopped acting in films as he wanted to spend as much with her as he could. 

Her parents separated a year after they wed and divorced when Jennifer was two years old.

However, she had a close relationship with her dad for the rest of his life. He died in 1986 in Iowa.

When her father died in 1986, he left her half of his $60 million estate; the other half of the estate went to her stepmother Barbara Harris. 

She attended high school in then graduated from Stanford University in 1987.  

The she started acting, which her father never wanted her to do.

In 1993, Grant landed a part in Beverly Hills, 90210, in the recurring role of Celeste Lundy.

Next she popped up on Friends and Ellen, and was in the film The Evening Star (1996) with Shirley MacLaine and Babylon with Brad Pitt (2022).

She also had a role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. 

In 1999, she was the lead actress in the WB television sitcom Movie Stars.

In Grant's 2011 memoir, Good Stuff: A Reminiscence of My Father, Cary Grant, she wrote about her famous father who was 62 when she was born.

'Dad transformed himself in a very American can-do way,' said Jennifer. 'The self-made man and all that. But he was a Brit at heart, very refined and polished. Even in the way he ate. He loved his corned beef and cabbage. And crumpets. Cornflakes!' 

Grant talked about her father's past to The Guardian in 2023.

'He rarely spoke to me of his mom and dad, particularly his father,' she said. 'Occasionally, he would say something kind about the way he taught him to dress. And he spoke of Elsie, my grandma, once in a while.'

She continued, 'Given the pain of his upbringing, which forced him to push down a lot of it, he could have self-immolated, right? But it motivated him. And I think he wanted to be sure not to repeat the pattern. So the pendulum swung the other way. All the neglect he suffered meant he made sure that that was not my life.'

He died when she was only 20-years-old. 

Grant was wed to director Randy Zisk from 1993 to 1996 and she has two children.
