Yet, fast forward four decades, and has entered a new chapter of her life following her divorce from her billionaire husband.
The former pop star, 42, split from her property tycoon husband in June last year after 13 years of marriage.
A source told Daily Mail at the time: 'They have been living separate lives for a long time, he's travelling a lot. Nick has businesses in and London, The Reform Party.'
Since their split, Holly has gone on to rebrand herself as a right-wing political activist, who's 'growing close' to anti-Islamist and sparking up a romance with her ex-bodyguard.
Holly has been throwing her support behind Reform UK and the far-right after leaving her native Australia because it 'went big on stuff'.

Such is her influence that there have been calls for her to stand as an MP in the UK, while over in America, she has enjoyed meetings with , who she described as 'fabulous'.
It's quite the change for the former performer, who by her own admission was once a proud liberal.
That was until she said she 'woke up' to all of the 'c**p ideas' of the 'lefties' and reinvented herself as a conservative firebrand.
Holly's rapid rise to become a poster girl for the right and an anti-woke crusader dates back to 2022, when Nigel Farage posted a picture on social media of her meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.
Indeed, it was through Nigel that she met Trump when he invited her and her then-property tycoon billionaire husband Nick Candy to Palm Beach, Florida.
The dinner meet-up sparked an angry backlash from her fans, who threatened to boycott her music.

Holly said that those who banned her anti-woke song don't have 'enough brain cells' after it soared to the top of an iTunes chart ahead of and Olivia Dean.
Her recent tune 'Kiss Kiss (XX) My A**e' was briefly banned by Apple after it reached No.1 on the best-selling songs chart following its release on .
The song was reinstated after the ban sparked a fierce backlash, but Holly said the controversy only helped to promote the song.
'There's not enough brain cells between them. But it's helping me enormously so thank you very much,' Valance told The Kyle & Jackie O show earlier this year.
At the time, the song was number 8 in Australia's iTunes top songs chart.

The song - which is a soundtrack to 's new film, A Super Progressive Movie - is a reworked version of Valance's 2002 hit Kiss Kiss and features lyrics .
Lyrics of the song include: 'MWAH You will respect my pronouns / Not all ladies have ovaries, some have a penis / They say that I'm a he but I'm a she / 'Cause I gotta V and not a D.
'And I don't care what people say / I'll never be a him, a them or they / 'Cause I'm a real biological woman / A real biological woman.'
Holly made headlines again for using a slur about people with learning disabilities during a debate about the pandemic.
Holly told host Josh Howie on Free Speech Nation in February: 'During Covid was the big like tester to see... like the retard meter. And Australia was quite high on that.'
Josh quickly apologised for her use of the term 'retard' and said: 'Sorry for using that word, but that's okay, but... I think some people unfortunately might be offended.'
Unapologetic, Holly said: 'Hey, are we not Free Speech Nation over here? Where am I?'.

Holly has shunned the prospect of joining the Tories, and instead revealed she would be voting for Reform.
'I think it's really important to go and listen to everyone and educate yourself on all sides, and see who you find your morals and values are closest to,' she said after attending Mr Farage's announcement to stand as an MP.
'For me it's Reform, it has been for a little while, so I'm gunning for that. I'm a paid-up member.'
There were even suggestions she would stand as a candidate for Reform in the Tory safe seat of Basildon and Billericay, in Essex, but mother-of-two Valance turned down the opportunity.
'It's not going to work for me – it was very difficult logistics wise,' she said.
Her tongue-lashing of Greta Thunberg
'I don't understand why you have this, like, demonic little gremlin high priestess of climatism as the goddess in classrooms, Greta,' she told Chopper's Political Podcast.
'All the kids are all coming home with depression and anxiety.
'Why would you go to your music lesson or bother doing your homework or get out of your bed if you think we're all going to be dead in five years anyway?'
The Melbourne-born actress grew up in Australia with her Serbian father, Rajko Vukadinovic, and her British mother Rachel Stephens.
She moved to Britain in 2018 and briefly moved to LA before heading back to the UK again to live with Mr Candy, whom she split from last year.
She has declared she has no intention of moving back to her Australian homeland, lamenting that the country is going 'woke'.
'The Australia I grew up in was unreal. It was so fun and we didn't seem to have all these problems... the woke stuff's really gone big in Australia,' she said.
She later elaborated on the 'woke culture', pointing toward 'the stuff they're teaching in school': 'I don't think sexuality and children should be in the same sentence. I don't think anyone's sexuality is anyone's business. You don't know about mine. I don't know about yours. Why would we?'
In December, she was spotted hanging out with controversial political figure Tommy.
The mother-of-two joined him on a luxury steam train trip, along with former actor and politician and his wife Elizabeth, who has frequently appeared on a podcast that peddles conspiracy theories.
A picture posted online by Laurence, the leader of the Reclaim Party, showed Elizabeth and Holly sprawled on a sofa in one of the train's carriages.
A laughing Tommy lounged nearby. A caption written by Laurence read: 'It's a bit early for that…'
A video on social media also showed the group enjoying breakfast as the train – named The Chairman's Set and owned by City financier and major Reclaim donor Jeremy Hosking – left London.
While Holly sipped a cup of tea, a grinning Tommy said: 'Good morning everybody. How are we?'
Holly also took a selfie on the trip, with Tommy and Laurence posing in the background.
In December, she was spotted hanging out with controversial political figure Tommy Robinson

Friends of Holly told The Mail on Sunday that they are concerned that she and Tommy have grown close.
They are said to be particularly troubled at the prospect of her two daughters, aged 12 and eight, spending any time in Tommy's orbit.
Tommy, 43, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, has convictions for assault, mortgage fraud, using a false passport and multiple counts of contempt of court.
'There is concern about Holly and her two girls,' one friend of the former singer said.
'Plenty of her friends are worried. The question is whether they [Holly and Tommy] are romantically involved. Even if they are not having a romantic relationship, there is the fact that he has all of these convictions against him.'
Holly was first pictured with Tommy in September during his 'Unite the Kingdom' rally in London.
She was pictured wearing a 'MEGA' (Make England Great Again) hat and later praised the march, adding: 'I'm very proud and pleased for Tommy – this is his redemption.
'Finally. How the man screaming from the rooftops about the rape of white British girls was framed as "the bad guy" is going to be a case study.
'How weak and immoral we have become. Our silence is immoral. [At the march] the lions came out.'
But Holly put any rumours of a romance between her and Tommy.
The Mail on Sunday revealed that Holly's new flame, Grant Gale, 34, used to work as a bodyguard at the £270 million family home in Chelsea that she shared with her ex-husband.
It emerged last week that Providence House, Nick's mansion in Chelsea, has been bought by trading firm boss Suneil Setiya for around £270 million in one of the world's most expensive property sales.
It is understood Grant was part of a security team that protected Nick, Holly and their two children.
Grant, from Newport, South Wales, is a former soldier and enthusiast for combat sports.
In the new images, the pair enjoyed a coffee and a chat on a bench in a London park last week.
Wearing dark sunglasses and dressed casually in black leggings and top and £300 Nike trainers, Holly smiled as Grant, dressed in blue jeans and a white and green top, stretched his arm around her back.
She accepted his offer of his black denim jacket to keep her warm.
But Holly put any rumours of a romance between her and Tommy as she was pictured kissing her new flame over the weekend (pictured Grant Gale)
He wrapped it around her as they stood up, and she put her hands on his cheeks and reaching up for a kiss before they ambled off.
The former soldier is listed as director of a firm named Pretty Rifle Ltd, based in Northern Ireland, and is also run by 47-year-old Kenneth Joseph O’Hare.
According to Companies House, the business is described as a ‘wholesale of clothing and footwear’.
It has not yet filed accounts. Meanwhile, a picture on Instagram appears to show Gale carrying a gun while wearing a yellow t-shirt which reads: ‘Spartan’.
His Instagram account @grantiogalio, as well as his Facebook account, have since been deleted.
