But sharing the key to her happiness after suffering many rollercoasters along the way, Heather said to remember that ‘time will pass’ and ‘injustice’ will come around.

The former model also gave a rare glimpse into her ‘private’ and ‘happy’ marriage to her businessman husband Mike Dickman, 39, (pictured together in 2023)
Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Heather said: ‘If you don’t make a difference while you are here, what are you here for? People say “how do you overcome the adversity?”, Because I’m not focused on myself.
‘If you stop thinking about self absorption of one self and you actually get on and do things then that’s actually a powerful drug.’
She added: ‘I am really really happy at the moment. I’ve been through all these rollercoasters but it is interesting, karma and injustice comes around and when someone is feeling really dark or feeling low, you’ve just got to remember that time will pass.’
Speaking about her gushing husband Mike, who she wed in 2019 in a private ceremony in the Maldives, Heather spoke about how the duo met.
Christine asked: ‘And a new love in your life, I believe?’
Heather added: ‘Not new. Five years ago. I don’t really talk about him because I really respect peoples privacy but yeah met on a train. It doesn’t have to be a dating app just go and chat to people.’
Christine continued: ‘The beginning of every best romance.’
The couple started dating in the spring of 2019 and Mike, 39, who is 17 years her junior, proposed in 2020.

Heather, who was previously married to Sir Paul McCartney, originally vowed to never marry again following their failed marriage.
Their marriage broke down after four years and she once responded ‘never again!’ when asked about tying the knot in future. Heather received more than £23million in cash and assets in their divorce settlement in 2008.
Heather recently revealed that she was forced to ‘live off liquid food for three years’ after contracting Lyme Disease.
The illness left her with a ‘burst appendix’ and ‘always in agony’ after the removal of her gallbladder.
She has long since credited her strict vegan diet for saving her life.
Speaking to The Telegraph she discussed saving her vegan business empire, VBites, from collapse after launching the company as a result of her own health struggles.
She told the publication: ‘They misdiagnosed it as dengue fever. It was actually Lyme Disease.
‘It wiped out my microbiome, my colon, everything. My appendix burst. Then they took my gallbladder out which they didn’t need to take out. So I suddenly couldn’t digest anything. So I had to live off liquid food for three years.

‘I was always in agony. I would lose complete control of my bowels and have to jump out of cars.’
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread to humans by infected ticks, which are tiny spider-like critters.
The bugs can be found in every country in the UK, nearly all states in the US and across Europe and Asia. However, not every tick in the UK carries the disease.
Heather launched VBites in 1993 and it has been one of the leading manufacturers and wholesalers of plant-based meat and cheese in the UK.
She publicly credited the vegan diet with saving her life after a car accident in 1993 left her needing her leg amputated – stating that abstaining from animal products dramatically improved her health.
She later received a prosthetic leg and resumed her modelling career.
She confessed in 2018: ‘I didn’t go vegan for the animals or the environment it was just after I lost my leg and the infection was spreading.’
