Now she has offered a tantalizing glimpse of its video, helmed by Gia Coppola, who is the granddaughter of The Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola.
In one striking snatch of footage, Halsey dances wildly in a darkened bar wearing no shirt over her sparkling, barely-there bra.
The 29-year-old songstress can also be seen flopping back on her bed and having an animated conversation in a living room with a mystery man in a tank top.

The teaser came after Halsey revealed that she got permission from Britney Spears to sample her song of the same name on Lucky.

Last week a fan asked Halsey on X, formerly Twitter, whether Britney was ‘involved’ in the decision to sample her song on Halsey’s next single.
Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, replied: ‘yes of course! I wouldn’t even dream of doing it without her blessing!’
Britney’s original song Lucky includes the chorus: ‘She’s so lucky, she’s a star, but she cry, cry, cries in her lonely heart, thinking: “If there’s nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night?”‘
Halsey switched the lyric to first person for her own single, crooning: ‘But I’m so lucky, I’m a star, but I cry, cry, cry in the lonely heart thinking: “If there’s nothing missing in my life, then why do these tears come at night?”‘

She explained in 2017 that she had recently come to regard herself as a CEO after realizing she controlled more of her work than other pop stars.
‘At first, it was naivete,’ she told Fast Company. ‘I thought every artist did everything themselves. I thought Britney Spears wrote her own music – I thought every superstar was designing their own live stage show, so I always just did those things.’
After the interview went public, social media commentators started saying Halsey had taken a swipe at Britney – prompting Halsey to respond on social media.
‘Most stuff is easy to ignore but that one hurts cause I just love her and have always spoken highly of her and her genius is undeniable,’ she wrote on Twitter.
‘I love Britney so much and I wish people weren’t spreading stuff,’ she insisted. ‘All I said was it takes a lot of people to complete a song.’

One day after The End came out, Halsey announced: ‘In 2022, I was first diagnosed with Lupus SLE and then a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.’
A ‘T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorder’ can mean any number of conditions in which the body is producing an excessive amount of T-cells.
Various forms of leukemia and lymphoma are categorized as ‘T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorders,’ but Halsey did not name her specific ailment.
However, in an Instagram post about her treatments, she did tag The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as the Lupus Research Alliance.
Depending on the particular condition, symptoms of T-Cell lymphoproliferative disorders can include an enlarged liver, weakness, anemia and atypical bruising.
