Halle Berry shared a sizzling photo of her bath time adventures on Thursday, but some fans were disturbed by one chilling detail.
The 57-year-old Oscar winner posted a photo of her lower half to Instagram on Thursday, revealing her long, trim legs as she luxuriated in a bathtub.
‘Sometimes all I need is a bath and for everyone to shut the hell up!’ she wrote playfully in her caption.
But some fans and followers were less focused on her stellar gams and instead were creeped out by an eerie nude statuette in the corner of the photo that appeared to be staring directly into the camera.
The striking display followed another of Halle’s photos that went viral showing her putting on a sultry display in the desert despite what looked like a pile of feces just inches from her bare feet.
In her latest photo, the actress appeared to have flipped onto her side and stuck out her long legs.
She relaxed in a rectangular blue bathtub next to an uncovered window revealing some cacti in the distance, while the edge of the tub was decorated with tall white candles in holders that looked as if they were made of white crystals.
But the think that stole many fans’ attention was a nude statuette of what appeared to be a man.
He stood on a stone platform and had his arms raised and held behind his head as he appeared to grip a long object, which was possible meant to be some kind of cloth, as if he was wringing it out.
The figure looked as if it was grimacing, and it had an oval-shaped, mask-like visage, including eyes that were arranged so that they happened to point directly toward Halle’s camera.
The Monster’s Ball star didn’t give any indication that she realized the statuette might disturb some of her followers, though they spoke up in the comments section about the startling image.
‘What is that???’ wrote one unfortunate person who spied the standing figure, while another complained: ‘That statue looks creepy, he looks straight into the lens.’
One conspiracy-minded viewer thought the statuette was evidence of something sinister.
‘The statue is disturbing especially since we know the truth about most celebrities,’ they wrote, but another person tried to shut them down with a reply: ‘yep, they see some African art and lose their minds.’
Another overly sensitive person commented: ‘oh my God very disturbing. What is it ot, it looks demonic [sic].’
However, one commenter found their incredulous reaction to be ‘ridiculous.’
‘Oh, good grief. You don’t know what it is you’re looking at so it must be “demonic.” Ridiculous.’
Another person seemed concerned that the statuette might come to life.
‘Did she purchase this for herself or was it a gift? What about it was appealing for her if she bought it herself? Does she make certain that it is in the same exact spot she placed it in each day?’ they wrote.
Others had some fun with the statuette, with one user writing, ‘First time ever in my life, I wish I was a statue.’
The actress Taraji P. Henson even jumped into the comment to give her fellow star some encouragement.
‘TAKE ALL OF THE TIME YOU NEED‼️‼️‼️’ she wrote.
Halle’s latest post comes after a photo she shared with her more than 8.6 million followers also caught attention for all the wrong reasons.
She was posed in a sultry December 17 shot in which she wore a lace teddy while posing barefoot amid enormous rocks in what looked to be the desert.
While the Cleveland native did not add a geotag to the image, she was in the Middle East last month, as she attended the Red Sea International Film Festival 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The picture, which has garnered more than 149,000 likes, generated speculation from number of followers that the stunning star’s bare feet were in close proximity to what looked like a pile of feces, the source of which also conjured up debate.
One user asked, ‘What kind of s*** is that by your [feet emoji,]’ while another said, Am I the only one who sees the poop?’

Another user asked, ‘Literally nobody sees the 3 giant mounds of human s***???’ adding three poo emojis. ‘Seriously, why post that photo with the s*** in it?
Said one user: ‘Halle is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen, but this is just s***.’
One user raised the possibility that the dropping didn’t come from a person, but perhaps an animal.
‘How do you know it’s human s*** though? Maybe it’s from some wild animal that lives among the rocks!’
A user suggested that the glamorous image could be salvaged with the right tools.
‘Dope Pic, crop the [poo emoji] that’s right in front of you out of this pic tho!!’
One user defended Berry’s posting of the pic, saying it wasn’t clear that the substance in question was what everyone seemed to think it was.
‘Why are people looking so hard for the negative in this beautifully calm setting?’ the user said. ‘How do you even know if that’s s***??? Anyway… Great pic Ms. Halle.’
Other fans disregarded the potential doo-doo, showering the A-list actress with compliments.

‘Love the fact that @halleberry literally does not give a s***,’ the user said, while another described her as ‘still the baddest after all these years.’
Berry had the final word as she replied to one of the commenters in the thread who asked why she had posted the image.
She replied, ‘Why not? It is what it is’ with four laughing emojis.
She later said that the location made it unlikely that the droppings were from a person: ‘Ima say it was a wild animal. A human is not out there s***ting !!!! Just saying.’
