Halle Bailey clapped back after a fan made a comment on her looks amid speculation about the star being pregnant.
The Little Mermaid actress, 23, took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to respond to the claim that she has a ‘pregnancy nose’, insisting there will be dire consequences if the trolling continues.
‘If I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s gonna be hell to pay,’ Halle said in a video clip of a close-up of her face.
‘And you know why?’ she continued. ‘Cause I am black. I love my nose.’
She concluded, ‘Why are you concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone.’

Halle made sure to hide her front profile in the video clip and did not mention the pregnancy speculations.
Last month, fans reached a fever pitch as they went into overdrive sharing their takes on pregnancy rumors that have dogged her.
They concluded she is expecting her first child with rapper beau DDG.
The renewed rumors were set off when she was seen walking outdoors in Santa Monica with DDG (real name: Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.).
The songstress-turned-actress was seen wearing a particularly baggy grey hoodie on the outing, which some fans thought betrayed the outline of a bump.
It was the latest in a string of outfits that obscured her figure and led to a rash of fan posts both judging her for her alleged pregnancy and also defending her.
Halle was also pictured while walking on a public sidewalk with DDG by her side and with his arm affectionately resting on her back.
The Little Mermaid live-action remake star had on a grey graphic hoodie that fit loosely on her but was tighter around her waist, showing what appeared to be a raised section where her stomach was.

She one sleeve rolled up, revealing a cotton ball taped at the crook of her arm where she had either had a blood draw or received an injection of some kind.
Notably, DDG had the same bandaged spot on both of his arms, though one of Halle’s arms was covered up by her extended sleeve.
Back in September, fans argued on social media over whether Halle was pregnant, though her more restrictive outfit and slim waist shut down some of the most vocal posters.
The latest round of rumours and speculation included not only people debating whether or not Halle was pregnant, but also other fans opining on a potential pregnancy’s impact on her career.
Several fans seemed particularly upset about her boyfriend DDG possibly being the father of her alleged child, with some users on Twitter (recently renamed X) referring to him as a ‘bum.’
Even as some fans lashed out about her alleged lost potential from a young pregnancy, others lambasted those same fans for their judgmental posts.

While some fans rudely called her boyfriend a bum, but others defended him. One post claimed he ‘got his family out the hood with a youtube channel.’
Others reminded more judgmental fans that even if Halle was pregnant, it wouldn’t rob her of opportunities.
