The 29-year-old Rhode founder revealed that the experience still makes her ‘nervous’ on Wednesday’s episode of Jake Shane's Therapuss podcast.
It's also made her more vigilant about staying on top of her health.
'That situation made me a little bit extra hyper-aware of my body and a little bit more nervous about things and staying on top of them,' Bieber said, adding that she's 'just always been really focused and fascinated on health.
'I just am so fascinated with the body and medicine and doctors, and I love it.'
In March 2022, Bieber, who recently gave fans , was hospitalized for a mini-stroke, also known as transient ischemic attack (TIA) and often a precursor to a major, life-threatening stroke. She then had a procedure called patent foramen ovale (PFO) to close a hole in her heart.

The supermodel was rushed to hospital in March 2022 where doctors confirmed that she suffered a mini-stroke, aka transient ischemic attack (TIA), which led to the discovery of a hole in her heart that required surgery
'A couple of years ago, I had a crazy medical situation. I had a mini stroke,' she recalled.
'Then I found that I had this heart defect that I was born with, so I had to get surgery for it, which sounds really crazy, but they went through my groin and I was in and out of the hospital the same day.'
The successful surgery and recovery put a creative fire under Bieber, who and led her to create her Rhode makeup empire.
