Stan has unveiled the highly anticipated first trailer for its upcoming Original Series Good Cop/Bad Cop, featuring Hollywood stars Leighton Meester and Luke Cook.
The Gold Coast-filmed comedy-drama promises to deliver a compelling mix of humour, tension and heartfelt family dynamics, set against the backdrop of a small-town police force in the Pacific Northwest.
The series follows Lou (Meester) and Henry (Cook), a sister-and-brother detective duo.
Throughout the series, the pair will juggle eccentric locals, limited resources and their complicated relationship with each other and their police chief father.
Leighton Meester 38, best known for her portrayal of Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl, stars in the show alongside Aussie actor Luke Cook.
Luke, 38, portrayed Lucifer Morningstar in the Netflix series The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina and starred in the 2021 comedy series Hacks.

Adding to the drama, the pair’s father just happens to be their no-nonsense police chief, Big Hank, played by veteran actor Clancy Brown.
The series looks to offer the perfect blend of action and comedy, with Leighton and Luke trading wisecracks and cheeky comments while solving a series of crimes.
Joining the stellar lead cast are veteran Aussie actors Scott Lee (Paper Dolls, Last King of the Cross), Philippa Northeast (Territory, The Newsreader) and Grace Chow (Mystery Road: Origin, The Twelve).
Other popular Aussie actors set to appear include Home and Away’s Lincoln Lewis, Neighbours star Tyler Coppin and Doctor Doctor’s Jeanette Cronin.
Created and written by John Quaintance (Will & Grace, Workaholics), Good Cop/Bad Cop boasts an impressive lineup of creative talent and executive producers, including Trent O’Donnell, Jeff Wachtel, and Chloe Rickard.
The series is helmed by acclaimed directors Trent O’Donnell (Population 11), Gracie Otto (Bump), Corrie Chen (Bad Behaviour), and Anne Renton (The Good Doctor).
Produced by Future Shack Entertainment and Jungle Entertainment, the series received significant support from the Queensland Government.

Stan’s Cailah Scobie and Amanda Duthie serve as executive producers, with ITV Studios handling international distribution.
With its dynamic cast, sharp writing and dramatic twists, Good Cop/Bad Cop looks to be one of the most talked-about shows of the year.
Australian director Gracie Otto, daughter of screen legend Barry Otto, has also helmed two episodes of the show.

It looks to be perfect entertainment for fans of other Australian Stan Original productions, including C*A*U*G*H*T and Poker Face.
The series will premiere on Thursday, February 20, only on Stan.
