The race returns this Sunday with a long list of famous faces set to join more than 56,000 runners on the route.

Amongst them, Gordon's youngest daughter Tilly, 24, will run with Flora for nonprofit organization Feeding Britain.

Sharing a fun clip to his Instagram the night before, the chef, 49, filmed Tilly as she lay in bed with her active wear laid out on top of her.

He wrote: 'Wishing this incredible young lady all the very best for tomorrow as you attempt your first ever London Marathon love you so much Dad.

'Can’t wait to see you out there! Good luck to everyone running and a big thank you to all the volunteers you are all amazing.'

Backed by Flora UK as part of their new partnership with the charity, Tilly aims to help tackle food insecurity across the UK while inspiring others.

This year's marathon is stacked with sporting pedigree, Hollywood royalty and musical powerhouses.

Award-winning actor and Wicked star Cynthia Erivo will be taking on the whopping 26.2 mile race.

She will be joined by model and actress Amy Jackson Westwick, raising money for Alder Hey Children's Charity.

McFly's Harry Judd, who has already completed six marathons, will be hoping to beat his personal best once again.

Meanwhile, Tilly, James Norton and Curtis Pritchard will be tackling the race for the first time.

In a post Tilly previously said: 'This month I'm running the TCS London Marathon with @flora raising money for @feeding_britain', she wrote on Instagram.

'Training has felt so much easier when I'm fuelling properly and having simple, delicious recipes that keep me on track. If you're looking for some new ideas, check out the Flora recipes on my page #thestartofsomethingbetter.'

This year's London Marathon is set to see a record-breaking number of finishers, surpassing last year's high of 56,640.

London is forecast to have sunny spells, while runners should prepare for rising temperatures in the late morning and early afternoon as they take on the 26.1-mile route.

Forecasters said: 'Sunday's London Marathon is likely to take place under largely dry and settled conditions.'

They added: 'After a cool, potentially misty start, brighter spells should develop and temperatures will rise to feel warm for many by the afternoon.

'Light winds and dry weather point towards pleasant, spring-like day overall, well-suited to one of the capital's biggest sporting events.'
