He may be known for his hard-nosed style as the star of some of TV's most gruelling cooking shows.

But it was Bring Your Son To Work Day for in the latest episode of Next Level Chef, as he's joined by his lookalike son Oscar to judge an array of children's classics.

The show sees the famous cook judge dishes from budding chefs, and with the latest task including some childhood favourites, it seemed Gordon and the judges needed a helping hand.

Gordon, 59, took to Instagram to share adorable snaps with little Oscar, six, as they wore matching outfits for the episode, which will air on Fox on Thursday.

The Hells Kitchen star has been a judge on Next Level Chef since it began in 2022, alongside chefs Richard Blais, and Nyesha Arrington.

Contestants compete to win a grand prize of $250,000, and the lucky chance to work professionally alongside the show's regular mentors in their restaurants for a year.

Tana and the TV chef are parents to Megan, 27, twins Holly and Jack, 26, Tilly, 24, Oscar, and two-year-old Jesse. In 2016 Tana had a miscarriage at five months pregnant, delivering her stillborn son Rocky.  

Away from his TV duties, Gordon has also been training to complete an Ironman challenge, and even joined his son-in-law Adam Peaty for some swimming.

Gordon headed to the pool over the weekend in preparation for undertaking an Ironman - an endurance race consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.22-mile marathon run in a single day.

Taking to his Instagram Story on Saturday, Gordon shared a shirtless picture of himself in his swimming trunks at the pool inside the Toronto Athletic Club, . 

Showing he was training for the Ironman later this year in Costa Navarino in Peloponnese, Greece, Gordon posted a video of his branded swimming cap for the race.

Gordon also shared a photo of his fitness watch which showed he had swam 2000m in 33 minutes.

He told Gaby Roslin's Reasons To Be Joyful podcast: 'He calls me dad. He messaged me and said "Hey dad, what have you got? Hey dad, are you around later?" 

'And it's just like, "Oh my God". Incredible. And what a lovely couple. They are a dream for Tana and I.'

In a sign of their close bond, Gordon publicly threw his support behind his new son-in-law.

Adam declared he would 'always choose' his wife as he delivered an emotional speech, prompting Gordon to publicly show his love and support. 

The Peaty family have suffered a dramatic fall-out since it was revealed in November that Adam had banned his family - including mother Caroline and father Mark - from his December wedding to Gordon's daughter Holly.
