She added: ‘How people perceive you publicly is not who you are.'

While Powell has yet to publicly address the relationship, he has had no qualms discussing his meteoric rise in Hollywood since Top Gun: Maverick, Anyone but You and Hit Man made him a household name.

Moreover, he has stressed that hard work and discipline are key to his own success and happiness.
'The thing that I think I've started realizing is that it's very easy in this business to get in your own head or let the noise influence the way you feel about the job,' he told The Hollywood Reporter.
'And the thing is, sets are the happiest places on earth for me — if I've done the work ahead of time.'

On the other hand, if he has not done the preparatory work, he can suffer from 'imposter syndrome.'
The actor - who is the co-creator, producer and star of the comedy series, Chad Powers - said: 'For me, discipline is the key to my happiness.
'If I feel like I haven't done the work, then that imposter syndrome, and probably the world at large, starts getting in your head and messes with it.
'But if I've invested in it properly, I get to tune out the world and just enjoy the ride,' he added.
