It was revealed that four cast members had quit the now-Paramount+ series. Up first were James Tindale, Abbie Holborn and Marnie Simpson, with Chloe Ferry later following suit.

A source told the publication that, except for the six confirmed returnees, the other cast members received an ultimatum: agree to a pay cut and less screen time, or lose their role on the show.

While the latest season of the hit reality show got off to a tumultuous start, things appear to have turned around with the return of Abbie Holborn

: 'Abbie had originally said no for the upcoming run of Geordie Shore but became tempted by a very last minute deal.

'Bosses had already lost James, Marnie and Chloe and they didn't want to lose Abbie as well.
