Marnie Simpson posted: 'Omgggg congratulations' while Sam Gowland said: 'Congrats mate.'

Gaz went public with Maia in 2024 and has branded her 'inspirational' after she helped him through his split from Emma.

The TV star and Emma are parents to Chester, seven, and Primrose, four, and married in July 2021. The couple sadly split two years later.

The announcement comes after he hit out at critics after being slammed for returning to Geordie Shore, seven years after initially quitting the show to become a father.

Earlier this month, he was approached by a critic on TikTok who branded him 'embarrassing' and 'skint' for returning to the show, which was filmed in Portugal alongside fellow OGs Sophie Kasaei and Chloe Ferry.

In his rebuttal, father-of-two Gaz, real name Gary Beadle, referenced footballers Thierry Henry and Micah Richards' work as football pundid and TV stars.

He said: ''Is Henry skint because he does football pundit[try] or Micah Richards doing TV commercials? It's a job. If they wanna pay me to go on holiday with my mates for a few weeks for money, you better believe I'm doing it. More money in the pot.'

Speaking about his return, he told The Sun: 'I had a lot of conversations with producers about coming back because I wanted to make sure it was right for me...

'And then after the conversations, I was like, 'look, I've not going on there getting smashed every night, because I don't do that in real life so I'm not gonna do it there.'

He said: 'As the kids are getting older, and when I heard how much the show had changed is when I decided to come back.'

Gaz shot to fame on the inauguaral series of Geordie Shore in 2011 and remained on-screen until 2017, before making an appearance on spin-off Geordie OGs in 2019.

His time on the show was dominated by his romance with Charlotte Crosby, with the on-off union thwarted by his philandering and later his absence when she suffered an ectopic pregnancy while he filmed Ex On The Beach in Thailand in 2016.

He departed the show after discovering his then-girlfriend Emma was expecting their first child.
