Florence hasn't formally been announced as joining the cast but speculation is growing she will play a younger version of Andy's ex-girlfriend, Ruthie.

The plot follows Ben (played by Samberg), who undergoes an experimental procedure and is cryogenically frozen for 42.6 years.

When he finally wakes up, he has not aged a day. He then sets out to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend, Ruthie (Annette Bening), who has spent those decades living an entire lifetime without him.

Florence, meanwhile, is also set to star in The Midnight Library.

The fantasy drama is based on Matt Haig's novel.

It is being helmed by Lion filmmaker Garth Davis and, according to Variety, Paramount is paying more than $30 million for the rights to the film.

In a picture described as a 'love letter to life', Florence will portray Nora Seed - a woman who finds herself in a library between life and death with the opportunity to experience all the possible lives she could have lived.
