Fisher Lands Major Role in Hollywood Blockbuster!

Australian DJ Fisher has shared an exciting career update with his fans, revealing he has been cast in a big budget Hollywood movie.

The veteran performer, 39, shared the news on Instagram on Monday, announcing he will be of one of the characters in the Australian and release of the Disney film Toy Story 5.

'This is actually wild! I'm the Garden Gnome in Toy Story 5! Honestly, just can't wait to watch this with Chloe, Bobbi and Andi! Thank you so much for having me DisneyAUNZ!' Fisher wrote alongside a picture of the character he will be voicing.

Fisher's character will be part of a group of abandoned toys that live in a backyard shed, with Disney describing the gnome as: 'Fiercely protective of teatime and his kid.'

Many of Fisher's family and friends took to the comments to share their excitement upon hearing the news.

'Can't wait for this!!!' wrote Fisher's wife Chloe. 

'That's incredible,' Tones and I added and Steph Claire Smith chimed in: 'So iconic!'

One adorable picture captured Fisher - real name Paul Nicholas Fisher - tenderly kissing his newborn daughter's forehead as his wife Chloe lovingly looked on.

Another photo showed the celebrity DJ beaming brightly as he tenderly cradled his bundle of joy.

In the caption, they shared their excitement at becoming new parents - and revealed their daughter's adorable name.
