A new documentary about the horrific sex crimes committed by former BBC DJ Jimmy Savile will be released tonight.
The upcoming show, titled The Reckoning, will give an insight into how he managed to escape punishment for his crimes over such a long period.
But where exactly is The Reckoning filmed? How many different locations were used?

Bolton

Some scenes were filmed at the site of the former Bolton Magistrates Court in October 2022, according to The Bolton News.
Parking bays were said to have been suspended from October 5, 2022 with filming taking place over a number of days that month.
Manchester

Steve Coogan, who plays the part of Savile in the documentary, was seen in costume for the documentary outside a nightclub in Manchester and was also pictured in one of the city’s parks for filming.
North Wales

In November 2021, WalesOnline reported that filming took place in Rhos-on-Sea, which adjoins Colwyn Bay in north Wales.
Coogan was spotted wearing a maroon-coloured tracksuit and what seemed to be a bright blond wig.
Other snaps saw Coogan in a long blond wig and a suit while recreating scenes from 1974.
This included the recreation of a meeting between Savile, patients and staff of Broadmoor and the disgraced Mayor of Scarborough Peter Jaconelli, who himself was found to have abused children.
Steve put on an animated display as he posed with fellow actors while clad in a grey suit with a white shirt and yellow tie.
The Reckoning will air on BBC One from Monday, October 9 with all episodes available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
