Farmer Wants a Wife Star Gets Engaged Mid-Season

Former Benjamin Jackson has announced he is tying the knot with one of his former ladies after quitting the show mid-season in 2022.

The fan favourite and his bride-to-be, Hannah Gracey, whom he met in season 12 of the dating series, shared the happy news in a joint Instagram post earlier this week.

The pair can be seen celebrating the happy news in the loved-up snap, where a smiling Hannah flaunted her impressive engagement ring.

'Um…. YEP! The easiest yes of all, in every lifetime,' Hannah said in the caption.

Former cast members from Hannah and Benjamin's season rushed to congratulate the pair on their Instagram post.

'WEEEHOOO, over the moon for our faves,' shared Tess Brookman who was paired successfully with Farmer Harry Lloyd.

'Congratulations! This is amazing news,' added fellow 2022 cast member Aleisha Mackell.

Benjamin made headlines four years ago after he made a hasty exit from the dating show when he faced a death in his family and his own health issues.

His decision left Hannah and two other hopefuls, Lyndsay and Erin, devastated.

Still, each of the lovesick ladies supported the sheep farmer from Guyra in NSW after he made his difficult decision.

'I care for him a lot, I’m worried about Benjamin, I’m worried about his health. We all hope he’s okay,' Hannah said on the show at the time.

Based on the pair's social media accounts, the pair reconnected not long after Benjamin left.

The couple confirmed their romance on Instagram in September 2023.

Hannah and Benjamin have come a long way after creating one of the most dramatic moments in the 2022 season of Farmer Wants a Wife.

The tension began as Lyndsay asked the hirsute hunk if he had locked lips with any of the other women vying for his attention on the show.

'Have you kissed anyone else?' she asked, looking him straight in the eye.

Farmer Benjamin nodded his head in agreement, before Lyndsay asked, 'Erin?'

Lyndsay was left heartbroken by Ben's silent reply.

Benjamin went on to admit he was feeling awkward after he confessed he had kissed two out of three of his dates.

He then pulled Hannah aside - the only woman he hadn't kissed - and told her she was the only one he didn't feel a connection with.

'It's not like I'm trying to keep secrets, I'm not trying to be deceptive,' he told her.

'I got friend-zoned tonight,' Hannah then confessed.

'I guess, just hearing that Ben had kissed Lyndsay and Erin tonight, it made me feel like I was not even second-best, like third-best,' Hannah said before adding: 'Yeah, it sucked.'

'I thought he hadn't kissed anyone, it was the biggest kick in the guts to me,' Hannah said.
