Paris Hilton’s fans expressed concern over the way she put on her one-year-old son Phoenix’s life jacket in her latest TikTok video.

The socialite, 43, took to social media over Memorial Day weekend to share a video of her and Phoenix enjoying the sunny weather while splashing together in the pool.

However, many fans took to her comments to advise the mom-of-two — who recently also addressed safety fears over her children’s car seats — pointing out that her little one had his blue life jacket on backwards.

‘Hey momma just a tip from another puddle jumper mom I think it’s on backwards,’ one person wrote.

Paris replied: ‘Oops! Thank you! I never let him out of my arms. thought it was backwards too, I said that to the person who I bought it from & they said it was on right. But thank you so much for letting me know.’

A puddle jumper is a type of life jacket designed for young children. Puddle jumpers are buoyant vests with arm floats that help keep kids afloat.

The arm and middle float section is designed to be worn in the front, and closed with a strap in the back.

However, Phoenix had his put on backwards, with the strap in the front.

Many fans offered Paris — who’s been enjoying a family vacation in Hawaii — advice on how to best close the jacket, while still giving her words of encouragement as a new mom.

‘Double check the puddle jumper. I believe it’s on backward,’ another fan suggested.

‘Swimming teacher here, see if you can swap the puddle jumper for a float jacket. Gives him the use of his arms to aide his swim journey,’ someone else mentioned, to which Paris wrote back, ‘Thank you’ with a heart emoji.

Yet another fan chimed in, writing, ‘So adorable. those floaties are the best just buckle it in the back instead of the front.’

‘The little life jacket is backwards, but you are an amazing mother!!! Enjoy every moment, my youngest just graduated high school.’

Throughout the clip Paris had Phoenix in her arms the entire time, while walking around the pool.

‘Adventures with Baby P,’ she captioned the video, adding a fish emoji.

She also shared another video of her carrying baby Phoenix on the beach, captioned ‘Paradise with Baby P.’

The Hilton heiress looked incredible in a teal floral dress, with her blonde hair pinned up with a Dior headscarf.

She accessorized with white sunglasses and a white purse. Meanwhile her son matched her outfit in a colorful green shirt.

Earlier this month Paris responded to fans’ concerns for her two children after they shared fears over the safety of her new car.

The socialite had taken to TikTok to post a clip of her infant daughter London, six months old, and son Phoenix buckled into their car seats, but fans were quick to question the installation of her children’s car seats.

Comments under Paris’ post noted that her children were sat in forward-facing seats, despite the website for the seat’s brand stating they were ‘intended for rear-ward facing only.’

Please hire someone to install car seats,’ one fan wrote while another added, ‘Crazy unsafe. This is wild.’

Paris went onto respond to fans fears in a new TikTok post, saying she ‘appreciates’ their advice and she’s ‘still learning as a new mom.’

She posted a new video showing that her children were now sat in car seats facing in the opposite direction, and captioned her post: ‘Thanks for the mom advice, I’m new to this.’

One commentor praised Paris for ‘not taking offence,’ by fans’ concerns, and she responded: ‘No, I’m not taking offense. I am a new mom and just learning as I go. So I appreciate advice when it is kind as I’m just trying to be the best mom I can be.’

Another user added: ‘I love that you showed you were vulnerable and not perfect and took the advice,’ and Paris replied: ‘No one is perfect, love you.’

Paris, who welcomed both Phoenix and London via surrogate, shares her kids with husband Carter Reum, 43. The entrepreneur began dating Reum in 2019.

The DJ and the businessman became engaged in February of 2021, and they tied the knot that November.
