The 54-year-old actor was forced to spend the night in the hospital after he was rushed there as soon as his Los Angeles–bound flight from Chicago had landed.
As of Tuesday morning, Feldman's representative revealed to the Daily Mail that he is still resting in the hospital while waiting for an MRI.

Although the cause of his mid-air illness is still unknown, his representative clarified that doctors had ruled out gallstones as a possible cause of his sudden illness.
On social media, fans flocked to Feldman's Instagram post from shortly before his flight to share their concerns and well-wishes for the Goonies star.
The outpouring of support comes after Feldman from a tribute to the late actor and director at The earlier this year.

On Instagram, Feldman's most recent post featured photos and video of a stop in Gary, Indiana, the birthplace of Michael Jackson, where he paid tribute to the late King of Pop before continuing on his drive to Chicago for a special screening of his 1985 classic The Goonies.
After his health emergency broke, fans jumped into the comments as they awaited news of his condition.

The star had a busy weekend as he reunited with his costars from the classic 1986 coming-of-age film Stand by Me, including Jerry O'Connell and Wil Wheaton.
The trio – in addition to Dan Pasternack, who served as host – participated in special Stand By Me Live events to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the iconic movie, including one in Indiana on Saturday and another in Chicago on Sunday.

Stand by Me – directed by the aforementioned Reiner – is centered around a group of childhood friends who go on an adventure to find the body of a boy who went missing in the woods. The late actor River Phoenix was also one of the core cast members.
A source told TMZ that Feldman had been feeling very sick on the flight and was checked out by a doctor on board as they claim that the physicians believe the issue may be pancreatitis or gallstones.

Feldman said that 'it is what it is' before admitting that 'it felt a little bit like a family reunion I wasn't invited to.'
But the star added that 'we're not going to use this time to go into my feeling about that.
'Instead I just want to say that I'm with the rest of us, we're all very destroyed that things went down the way they did, losing Rob when we all thought he'd be joining us at some point for this tour and it's a tragedy.'
