Exclusive: Louis Walsh reveals his true thoughts on Boyzone days after feud with Ronan Keating

Louis Walsh gave his real feelings on Boyzone in Celebrity Big Brother scenes which will air on Wednesday night – days after lead singer Ronan Keating called him a ‘jealous bulls****er’ in a foul-mouthed rant.

Talking about his proudest career accomplishments, Louis, 71, said: ‘Honestly, I think I’m lucky to be still working. I think I’m lucky to have gotten a break originally with Boyzone, that started my life.’

His words come days after Ronan, 47, slammed his former manager Louis, by branding him a ‘jealous bulls****er’ in a foul-mouthed rant.

And last week, X Factor judge Louis, 71, described the Ronan as a ‘p***k’ in front of millions of viewers on the ITV reality show.

However, in the latest episode of CBB, Louis admitted he was ‘lucky’ to get a break working for the Irish band which was made up of Keith Duffy, Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, Shane Lynch and Ronan.

The music manager went on to say Simon Cowell ‘changed his life’ as he bought him onto a number of his projects including X Factor.

He continued: ‘Simon Cowell changed my life because I met him, I did so many things with him. I think I’m just lucky to be working, that’s absolutely true, and still getting away with it!”

It comes days after Ronan’s foul-mouthed rant about Louis came to light.

The singer could be heard in audio obtained by The Sun as he lifted the lid on why he sacked the music manger when his solo career rocketed after leaving the Irish boyband.

In the recording, from the height of their feud in 2006, Ronan can be heard fuming to biographer Rob McGibbon how Louis had ‘really hurt’ him.

Saying: ‘I’ve no respect for Louis because he has none for me. He was very jealous of me.’

Last week, the housemates were treated to some music during the evening and Ronan’s solo single Life Is A Rollercoaster started playing.

‘Great song,’ Louis said before leaning over to Sharon Osbourne and adding: ‘He was such a p***k.’

He then said: ‘Everybody thinks he’s a lovely guy, do you know what I mean?’

‘If you’re Ronan Keating, who was working in a shoe shop when I discovered him, but end [up] thinking you’re George Michael, then you need to be stopped.’

As the song continued to play, Louis criticised Ronan’s career, saying: ‘He hasn’t had a hit record since I left. He sacked me.’

Louis has taken numerous swipes at Ronan over the years, including previously calling him ‘talentless and spoiled’.

In an interview with Q Magazine in 2012, he said: ‘His head got turned by having nice hotels and chauffeur-driven cars, and he thought he could write songs.

Ronan has fired back on occasion and previously said on Magic FM that he didn’t want to work with someone who didn’t respect him.

He said: ‘[Louis] was very important to me as a mentor and I’m grateful for the opportunities he gave me, because I wouldn’t be here without them.

‘But there’s only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected.’
