They first teamed up for 2018's The Favorite, which earned Stone a Best Supporting Actress nomination.
Bugonia follows two conspiracy-obsessed men who kidnap Stone, the CEO of a major pharmaceutical company, when they become convinced that she's an alien who wants to destroy Earth.
The dark-comedy also stars Jesse Plemons, Alicia Silverstone, and comedian Stavros Halkias.
Emma had her head shaved on camera for the role, which triggered a real-life emotional reaction from the actress.

The Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall will provide the backdrop as the very best of contemporary cinema converge for the The 2026 EE BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday evening.
