Emma Chamberlain has officially split from her boyfriend and musician, Role Model, after a little over three years together.

Sources informed E! News in an article published on Saturday that the successful YouTuber, 22, and the A Little More Time singer, 26 – whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury – have broken up and gone their separate ways.

The media influencer and the performer mainly kept their relationship out of the public eye until the former couple made their red carpet debut at the Vanity Fair Oscars party in March 2022.

Shortly afterwards, Chamberlain made an appearance in Role Model’s music video for the track titled, neverletyougo.

The video was labeled as a ‘soft-launch’ of their relationship and throughout the clip, the camera followed both Tucker and Emma as they strolled through Brooklyn, although her face was never shown on camera.

However, it wasn’t until February of this year that the two stars officially confirmed their romance during a joint interview with GQ for a special Valentine’s Day edition.

The pair first began communicating in 2020 when the music artist sent her a DM after seeing a TikTok that the media personality uploaded as she twerked to a song by Dayglow.

While talking to the outlet, Pillsbury remembered coming across the clip as she twerked to the track, ‘in the bathroom and surprising herself that her a** moved a little bit.’

He added, ‘For some reason – I don’t know why, had nothing to do with the twerking, I’m not a f***ing creep – but it showed her personality. I feel like I’m good at reading people through a screen.’

The pair messaged each other for two months before they made the decision to meet in person for a date – which took place at Emma’s residence in Los Angeles.

Chamberlain admitted that she was nervous and remembered, ‘I couldn’t speak, because I was shaking. I didn’t want to be near him, because I was like, “He’ll see that I’m shaking, so I have to be far away.’

Tucker’s relationship with the influencer was his first. ‘Truthfully, I’ve always genuinely been against them,’ he admitted. ‘I can’t express it enough. I really was never picturing myself truly being in love.’

But he and Emma had clicked and began dating in 2020. ‘We have a very just unproblematic, safe, private – when we want to be private – relationship,’ Role Model said to GQ.

She continued, ‘That used to be my mindset: “I’m protecting this at all costs and not letting anybody see it.” But, actually, that’s not fun.’

‘It’s not f***ing fun. And what’s life about? Having f***ing fun, okay? S**t should just be f***ing fun! Why stop yourself from doing that?’

Both the media personality and the musician have yet to publicly comment on their break up.

Shortly before the news of the split came to light, Chamberlain whisked herself away to attend Paris Fashion Week – which came to an earlier this week on October 3.
