For the new promotional collaboration Fanning once again serves as acclaimed filmmaker Coppola’s muse after previously working together on two feature films in the last 15 years.
For the special event, Fanning stunned onlookers in a vintage John Galliano slip dress that featured feminine floral embroidery.
The garment loosened up a bit from just below the waistline to create an elegant mermaid silhouette.
The Maleficent star’s chic blonde bob was flipped up at the ends and she rocked a rosy flush for the night.

In support of the distiller’s ‘Come Alive with the Seasons’ messaging, Fanning, who’s the younger sister of actress Dakota Fanning, plays the consummate party girl in the promo campaign for The House of Suntory’s Roku Gin.
‘It is amazing to be partnering with The House of Suntory’s Roku Gin,’ Fanning said in a press release as reported by Nylon. ‘Their commitment to craftsmanship, nature, and attention to detail is why Roku Gin is inspiring.’
The actress continued, ‘And working alongside my friend Sofia again to showcase the beautiful concept of shun[the moment when nature is at its peak in vibrancy and vitality] through our Roku Gin ‘Come Alive with the Seasons’ campaign vignette has been particularly special to me.’
Roku’s unique flavor profile combines six Japanese botanicals — including sakura flower and leaf, sencha, Gyokuro, sansho pepper, and yuzu peel — with eight traditional gin botanicals.
For Fanning, she first got to work with Coppola on her drama film, Somewhere, which was shot in 2009 when she just 11-years-old.
Written and directed by Coppola, Fanning played Cleo, the young daughter of Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff), a newly famous actor who recuperates from a minor injury at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
When his ex-wife suffers an unexplained breakdown, she leaves Cleo in his care, and the pair end up spending quality time together, and ultimately her presence helps Marco mature and accept adult responsibility.
Some seven years went by when Fanning landed one of the lead roles in Coppola’s Southern Gothic thriller film, The Beguiled, which also starred Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman and Kirsten Dunst.
