The new play by Jez Butterworth, The Hills of California, will debuted in the West End on January, 27, 2024.

The show, which takes place in 1976 Blackpool during the driest summer in 200 years, will play until June 15, 2024.

Sam Mendes directs The Hills of California and the acclaimed Lehman Trilogy director also staged Jez’s The Ferryman in the West End 2017.

The show repeated that success at the 2019 Tony Awards, when Jez and Sam’s production transferred to Broadway.
