Ekin-Su Culculoglu has insisted that she and Davide Sanclimenti just ‘ignore the hate’.
The Love Islander, 29, claimed in a new interview that she and her on/off boyfriend, 28, ‘live normal lives’ after rekindling their romance.
Ekin-Su told The Mirror: ‘We just ignore and we just live our lives privately and we focus on each other, like a normal couple and we’re really happy.
‘We just ignore the hate, ignore the pressure and live a normal life. That’s what makes us happy.’
The couple recently gave their relationship another go, after announcing very publicly in June that they had split after 11 months together.

Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned the winners of Love Island in 2022 after a turbulent romance.
Last month, Davide spoke out about the reason why he had split from Ekin-Su Culculoglu, revealing their romance broke down after they failed to see eye-to-eye on various issues and that a temporary separation was ‘needed’.
‘It’s a lovely feeling being with Ekin, we probably broke up more publicly but never privately because we have always been in touch and the love between me and Ekin has always been there’, he told The Sun.
‘Breaking up may happen to people but it never actually happened to us, we never properly privately broke up, it was more to do with the public pressure and we were having some tough months.’
The couple sent tongues wagging when, not long after their break-up, they were spotted leaving the ITV summer party together in July.
The pair were spotted getting into the same cab, however, they decided to keep their rekindled romance under wraps during the time.
Davide explained why the couple wanted to keep their relationship on the down-low and claimed there were some things they needed to work on before going public again.
He added: ‘Of course there were some things that both of us wanted to work on. Nor me nor Ekin were perfect in the relationship and probably needed to have a bit more communication and now I don’t regret nothing that happened because I feel stronger and I feel we understand each other.’
Split! The Love Island couple split back in June after 11 months together. Davide took to Instagram at the time to share the sad news with his followers
Drama! It comes after in April, Ekin-Su was said to be left ‘fuming and upset’ after finding messages and pictures from two models on Davide’s phone
Davide said he feels since reuniting they have become stronger and that everything ‘happens for a reason’.
At the time of their split Davide took to Instagram to announce their break-up, writing: ‘Ekin-Su and I are no longer together. I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best.
‘I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible.’
Sources also claimed the pair had jetted off on a make-or-break trip to Amsterdam, but struggled to get their relationship back on track.
A source told The Sun: ‘They haven’t been getting along for quite some time and they really tried to make it work, but despite their best efforts, they’ve decided to call it quits.’
Davide also hinted that his relationship with Ekin-Su was on the rocks, when he posted a shirtless snap hinting that he could be heading back to the Love Island villa as he captioned his post: ‘Guess who’s coming back.’
Earlier this year Davide admitted that he and Ekin-Su faced ‘struggles’ with their relationship.
In April, Ekin-Su was said to be left ‘fuming and upset’ after finding messages and pictures from two models on Davide’s phone.
The Italian businessman spoke candidly about their relationship in an interview with The Sun, in which he reflected on the realities of their life in the spotlight.
He said: ‘Me and Ekin-Su had our struggles due to our public positions and we still have them sometimes.
‘If there’s something that I would change or would have done differently [with Ekin-Su in the villa] maybe I would have taken things a bit more slowly.’
Davide went on to say that despite this the couple are still very much in the throes of romance, particularly because they have the ‘same background.’
‘The best thing about dating Ekin-Su is that we understand each other – not just because we are literally the same person,’ He went on. ‘She is my copy-paste.’
