In a candid post shared to on Friday, the Grammy-winner, 30, confessed that she has been 'struggling' with the diagnosis and has been in therapy for years.
She made the mental health confession while defending fellow music star , who is diagnosed with bipolar II disorder, over a recent in Paris.
Doja expressed how much she admired Roan for upholding boundaries in 'uncomfortable' situations - something Doja said she herself has struggled with for much of her life.
'I've learned from a very young age to pretend that I like stuff, to pretend that I'm happy, to pretend that I don't like stuff that I do, to appear like everything is OK,' she said in her TikTok video.
'I'll get it done. And it caught up with me, and I think it always does for people. I'm now struggling with BPD.'

BPD is 'a mental health condition that affects the way people feel about themselves and others, making it hard to function in everyday life,' according to the Mayo Clinic.
The mental health condition causes symptoms such as 'mood swings, anger and impulsiveness.'
Doja, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, said she has been 'struggling' with BPD for 'probably forever' and described it as an 'agonizing' experience.
