Leonardo had fans raising eyebrows after he was caught in a flirty chat with at the - all while his supermodel girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti was his date for the night.

The 51-year-old Oscar winner, , was spotted laughing and leaning in close as he chatted animatedly with the glamorous actress, 53.

Their chemistry quickly set tongues wagging, with DiCaprio even clasping Paltrow’s hand at one point as the pair shared a lively exchange.

Paltrow - who is married to producer  - appeared to gently pull away, though the Titanic heart-throb seemed keen to keep the conversation going.

Moments later, DiCaprio was seen settling into his seat alongside his stunning Italian girlfriend Ceretti inside the Dolby Theatre.

But Paltrow has long made it clear she never pursued anything romantic with the Hollywood star - previously revealing she turned him down when he tried his luck decades ago.

Speaking on Call Her Daddy in 2023, the actress admitted she never gave the Hollywood star a chance - largely because of his reputation at the time.

‘Nope, never made out with Leo,’ Gwyneth said. ‘He tried back in the day. But he was already, like, you know, he was very loose with the goods from when he was 19.’

DiCaprio has been dating Italian model Ceretti, 27, since 2023, nearly three years, bucking his long‑talked‑about reputation for always splitting from partners before they hit their mid‑20s

One viewer tweeted: ‘Leonardo DiCaprio stole Pedro Pascal’s mustache and the ceremony hasn’t even started yet, I’m not ready,’ while another summed it up in one word: ‘porn stache.’

The reactions kept coming on social media.

One fan quipped, ‘Pedro Pascal gave his mustache to Leonardo DiCaprio! #Oscars,’ sharing a side-by-side photo of the two.

Another added, ‘Leonardo DiCaprio has a mustache and Pedro Pascal is clean shaven.’

Yet more piled on, with one writing that he looked ‘the most chopped he ever chopped.’

One even compared him to a famous stand-up comedian, posting, ‘He looks like Shane Gillis.’

A few offered a sideways compliment, with one declaring, ‘He’s actually attractive for an old man.’

Many, however, were here for the bold new look, praising his red carpet swagger.

‘Leonardo DiCaprio owns the red carpet - classic black tux, bow tie, and that bold mustache giving major leading-man swagger. Timeless yet fresh; he’s ready to take home the gold.’
