Demi Moore while discussing the upcoming documentary on the Brat Pack said it will explain how being part of the group of actors in the 1980s affected them.
The 61-year-old actress while looking stunning in a black blazer dress was asked about the project on Wednesday during an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
‘What do you think of when you look back at those years when you guys were first starting out, kind of lumped together as a unit?,’ Stephen, 59, asked.
‘I mean, you know at that time there weren’t really …it was very new to be doing stories about young people. …I don’t think any of us really loved the moniker of being called brats. Because it kind of diminished our sense of being professionals,’ Demi said.
‘Which is what the documentary is about,’ she added.

The Brat Pack refers to a group of actors who appeared together in coming-of-age films in the 1980s and most of its members notably appeared in the 1985 John Hughes film The Breakfast Club and the 1985 Joel Schumacher film St. Elmo’s Fire.
The upcoming documentary is based on the 2021 book Brat: An ’80s Story by Brat Pack member Andrew McCarthy, 61, who also starred with Demi in St. Elmo’s Fire along with Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Mare Winningham and Andie MacDowell.
Demi referred to Andrew as ‘Andy’ on the talk show while talking about the documentary, but quickly corrected herself.
‘Andrew McCarthy,’ she said giggling. ‘He’s gonna kill me.’
‘This documentary is an exploration of what and how that affected each of us. Like, Rob, it just rolled off his back,’ Demi said. ‘He’s good that way.’
‘But for Andrew, it really affected him and things and choices he made,’ Demi said.
Demi said she has not yet seen the documentary and was excited to see it.
‘I’m sorry that we didn’t get a chance to all be in the same room together after all this time,’ Demi said.

Demi was on the CBS talk show to promote Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, which is the second season of the Feud anthology series.
She portrays showgirl and socialite Ann Woodward, who clashed with Capote after his unfinished novel Answered Prayers about New York society offended her.
‘He changes the names, but not enough that they don’t know. So the feud is essentially that they let him into the inner circle even though he was a bit of a court jester for their entertainment. And betrays them. And so they set out to crush him. Now my character, Ann Woodward, was never accepted into society. She married into it. I am kind of his first target. Because I accidentally killed my husband,’ Demi explained.
Stephen asked how she ‘accidentally’ killed her husband and Demi said it was an accidental shooting, but Capote called her ‘Bang Bang the Murderess’ in his excerpt.
Stephen also asked Demi about her cute dog Pilaf and she brought the pooch out
