Deacon Phillippe stepped out with friends in New York City over the weekend.
The 20-year-old New York University student, whose mom is actress and producer Reese Witherspoon, was dressed casually in a black and gray plaid jacket and beige pants.
He wore his outer layer over a black crew neck sweater and he wore a black baseball cap.
Deacon wore a pair of black sneakers with gum soles and he also donned square-shaped, black-framed eyeglasses.
The outing comes after Phillippe was slammed as a ‘nepo baby’ after showing off his pricey West Village apartment online.

Phillippe was on the receiving end of harsh criticism after giving a tour of his pricey Big Apple apartment.
Earlier this week, he allowed TikTok star Caleb Simpson to showcase the interior of his apartment for his latest video.
But viewers were dismayed by the size of the sprawling space as the rising star dodged questions about the cost of rent.
Some assumed that the apartment is so grand that his parents, Witherspoon and dad Ryan Phillippe, must be fronting the bill.
The music student was labeled a ‘nepo baby,’ a term in that refers to the children of celebrities and other powerful people.
Simpson, who routinely documents the homes of city dwellers, captioned his post, ‘Location: West Village. Occupation: Student,’ in reference to Deacon.
Viewers were miffed that Simpson failed to note that Deacon is the son of Hollywood heavy hitters.
‘Occupation: rich,’ wrote one mocking commenter.

Someone else described Deacon as a ‘trust fund baby,’ while another urged Simpson to add to his caption that Deacon was ‘the kid of the richest actress in Hollywood.’
Earlier this year, Forbes named Reese the ‘richest self-made actress’ due to her $440 million fortune.
One person who engaged with the content said Simpson should have asked Deacon, ‘How much does Reese Witherspoon pay for your rent?’
Deacon graduated from Mountain High School in June 2022 and began studying music at NYU last fall.
