DC Young Fly Opens Up About the Recent Loss of His Sister, Following the Passing of Partner Jacky Oh from Plastic Surgery Complications, and the Tragic Death of His Cousin: “Three Precious Lives Lost Within a Year”

DC Young Fly said on Instagram Tuesday that his sister has died, marking the third loss of a loved one he’s suffered this year.

The Atlanta native, 31, said, ‘In a matter of a year I lost 3 people … my Kuzzin on last august my girl in may and my sister a couple days ago .. u jus gotta stick through the mission knowin that GOD got u and he will grant you the strength….’

The Celebrity Squares host continued: ‘Remember he parted the Red Sea not make it disappear .. the problems are still there he jus allowed u to get through it  make sure Yu stay righteous don’t hold no grudge because GOD is love and love will always overcome adversity #StayPrayedUp #KeepGODFirst.’

DC Young Fly has been seen on 81 episodes of Wild ‘N Out from 2015-2020. He has also been seen in films such as 2023’s House Party, the 2018 movie Armed and the 2016 movie Almost Christmas.

He had been in Atlanta filming new Wild ‘N Out episodes when he was apprised of Jacky Oh’s death earlier this summer.

The Atlanta native, 31, opened up on the tough times in a social media post Tuesday

DC Young Fly, 31, and Jacky initially crossed paths in 2015, the same year he emerged as a personality on the MTV series.

The pair, who never wed, are parents to three children – daughters Nova and Nala and son Prince.

She was already one of the Wild ‘N Out personalities at that time. She was no longer on the series, and had been involved in marketing a lip gloss line titled the J Nova Collection.

In Jacky’s career, she also appeared in a number of films, according to her iMDb page. 

They include movies such as 2022’s Clout, 2022’s Scheme Queens, 2021’s Switched at Love, 2019’s Miscraft and 2017’s Del Playa. She also appeared on TV shows such as 2019’s The Worst Couple, 2019’s Marc + Jenni, and 2019’s Shift Drinks.

Her last Instagram post was on May 19, when she shared an image of her kids sleeping.

She captioned the post: ‘When u get all ur kids to sleep at once … that right there boiiii … Tag a Mom #happiness #peace lol.’
