His rep additionally claimed that there is both photo and video footage that the dog's owner had 'violated the law' by walking her dogs with no leash, which 'contradict the false statements that were provided to the police and shared publicly.

'In addition, hours after the accident caused by the dog being off a leash, there is video confirming that the dog's owner was walking on the street with two of her other dogs, both off leashes.'

The spokesperson added that Charvet's thoughts 'are with the family who lost their dog'; seen with Pamela Anderson on Baywatch in 1993

It conflicted the previous statement from the dog owner, who insisted the dogs were on leashes.

The representative claimed that Charvet 'slowed his vehicle and moved to the side to pass safely. As he did so, one of the dogs moved under the vehicle.'

Charvet has been cleared of criminal wrongdoing, law enforcement sources previously told TMZ.

Charvet's female neighbor accused him of fatally striking her dog with his truck before taking off, with authorities confirming they have responded to an incident about a vehicle 'accidentally' hitting a canine.

Vera Errico claimed Charvet struck her 11-year-old dog early Thursday morning of last week as she walked him on a leash through a gated Malibu community, according to TMZ.

The dog was rushed to the vet where he was sadly euthanized.

Errico claimed she was walking Sunday, her English Labrador, along with two other of her dogs on their leashes just before 6AM when Charvet drove by in his pick-up truck.

She claimed that he allegedly struck Sunday and drove out of the community without stopping.

While Errico believes Charvet only called police after driving out of the community, a law enforcement source has since told the site they do not perceive the incident to be a hit-and-run as authorities were contacted by Charvet, regardless of whether or not he remained on the scene.

The Sheriff's Information Bureau has since confirmed to The Daily Mail that deputies responded to an incident about a car accidentally hitting a dog.

'On April 16, 2026, at approximately 0600 hours, deputies from Malibu/Lost Hills Station responded to a traffic-related incident in the City of Malibu involving a vehicle that accidentally struck a dog,' the statement said.

'Upon arrival, deputies conducted their investigation. The dog's owner transported the animal for medical treatment; however, deputies were later informed that the dog succumbed to its injuries.'

The statement adds that a traffic report was also being prepared.
