Speaking to Daily Mail, Danny admitted that he 'cringed' watching his behaviour back during the explosive Revelations Week.

Danny acknowledged that his honesty may have crossed into bluntness and admitted he would change how he handled things if he had his time again.

'Watching it back, I'm cringing a little bit because it seems like I'm just constantly bringing it up,' he said.

'I actually look back and think, "Was I bringing it up way too much?" And maybe I was.'

Danny explained that while the lack of sexual chemistry was the biggest hurdle in their marriage, everything else between the couple was strong – something he feels was not fully reflected on screen.

'For me, that was by far the biggest hurdle in our relationship. But everything else was really good,' he said.

'It looks like I just keep bringing up the friends thing, but what I was saying was, "How can we be lovers if we can't be friends?" I really believe the best relationships have a strong friendship as the foundation.'

The groom admitted he regrets how often the issue was raised, acknowledging the emotional toll it may have taken on Bec.

'I promised myself when I came on the experiment that I'd always be honest. I stuck to that, but maybe I could have put it across in a better way,' he said.

'That's something I do regret. If I could go back and change it, I would. But I can't, so I've got to take it on the chin and move forward.'

Danny also addressed his decision to keep fighting for the marriage, explaining he did not want to walk away too early.

'In the real world, I've always been quick to call things. When I came into the experiment, I said I wasn't going to do that,' he said.

'I'd rather hang on too long than call it too soon. You only get one chance at the experiment and I wanted to give it everything I had.'

One of the most talked–about moments of the episode was Danny dramatically throwing the remaining photos out the window during the Photo Ranking Task after ranking Bec number one.

He insists the gesture was not orchestrated or done for show.

'At that point, I felt a lot of guilt,' he said.

'I don't feel like I gave the relationship my all earlier on. Throwing the cards out symbolised letting go of my previous attitude. I had the blinkers on. I was focused on Bec and us. I wasn't even thinking about the other women.'

However, the episode also fuelled rumours that Danny may have been eyeing another bride, with speculation swirling around his interactions with Gia.

Danny strongly denied the claims, branding them 'delusional'.

'That statement is completely delusional,' he said.

'I've never eyed her off. There were no private conversations, no secret meetings, nothing ever happened.'

'She's not my type whatsoever. I don't know where that narrative came from.'

He also pushed back against accusations from within the group that his relationship with Bec was fake or performative.

'At this point, everyone should be focused on their own relationship,' he said.

'No one's got a perfect marriage in the experiment. You don't see me accusing anyone else of anything. I'm just focused on me and Bec.'

Looking ahead, Danny teased that the upcoming dinner party will be one of the most chaotic yet.

'One word – Armageddon,' he said.

'It's complete and utter carnage. It aged me five years just being there. It's must–watch TV.'

He confirmed the dinner party will be a pivotal moment for him and Bec, urging viewers not to jump to conclusions based on previews alone.

'Don't believe everything you see on screen,' he warned.

Danny also claimed the early portrayal of their relationship, particularly during the honeymoon, was misleading.

'We were in Fiji for seven days. We had six and a half amazing days,' he said.

'The argument you saw was a quarter of a day, and that was all that was shown. That was disappointing.'

Despite the challenges, Danny insists progress is being made behind closed doors.

'The start of the experiment is tough. You're adjusting to married life overnight,' he said.

'But we are making progress, and that's a good thing.'
