Danny Dyer Caught Watching West Ham at BAFTAs

 looked very distracted while backstage at the TV BAFTAs on Sunday night as he watched his beloved West Ham take on Arsenal on his phone. 

The actor, 48, was spotted watching his phone intently as he walked arm-in-arm with his glamorous daughter to the stage at The Royal Festival Hall.

Danny, who is a famously passionate fan of The Hammers, was forced to miss the game due to the awards and took to the stage to present the Reality Award gong to The Celebrity Traitors. 

Meanwhile Love Island star Dani, who looked sensational in a strapless black gown, missed out on watching her husband , who is the West Ham captain, playing at the London Stadium. 

Luckily Rivals star Danny had his phone handy to watch every nail-biting moment of the intense clash as The Hammers fight for every point to attempt to avoid relegation.

As the former star and Dani headed to the stage in a lift, Danny was spotted laughing away with crew members. 

The intense match concluded with West Ham being beaten in the Premier League clash after LATE VAR controversy.

Arsenal took the lead late but West Ham thought they had one final dramatic equaliser through Callum Wilson, but after a lengthy five-minute VAR review, the goal was overturned, leaving the Gunners with all three points.

VAR deemed that goalie David Raya was being fouled in the build-up to Wilson’s late strike.

There are now just two games left in the Premier League for West Ham, and this evenings result is a blow for the Hammers.

After Tottenham's two most recent wins, they are in pole position to stay up in the Premier League, but there's still plenty to play for.

Following the BAFTAs Danny was spotted departing the Royal Festival Hall but made sure to make time for a quick cigarette break before hopping in a cab. 

Meanwhile glamorous Dani was seen beaming as she headed home solo. 

Elsewhere inside the star-studded bash Owen Cooper, 16, celebrated his Supporting Actor gong with his parents Andy and Noreen. 

The family were spotted proudly posing for a photo during the lavish dinner inside the venue.  

Ahead of the awards taking place, Owen was spotted chatting away to co-star Erin Doherty, who was sat across from him.  

Meanwhile Gavin and Stacey icon Rob Brydon was spotted enjoying a glass of wine with Graham Norton and Kirsty Wark. 

Presenter Graham was also spotted chatting away to Richard Osman as they beamed for a photo ahead of taking their seats.  

Following the three-hour long ceremony the stars were treated to a lavish dinner by P&O Cruises inside the Royal Festival Hall. 

Despite killing off Paloma Faith on Celebrity Traitors, Alan Carr proved their was no bad blood between the pair as they sat together before chatting to ab-flashing Amanda Holden. 

Meanwhile Made In Chelsea OGs Louise Thompson and Millie Mackintosh reunited as they posed for photos during the champagne reception. 

The Other Bennet Sister co-stars looked to be having fun as Donal Finn defended a high-kick from Ella Bruccoleri as they posed backstage. 

Christine Tremarco and Adolescence co-star Erin Doherty shared a sweet moment hugging backstage after Christine beat Erin to the Best Supporting Actress gong. 

Christine looked in complete shock as her name was announced as the winner as she beat co-star Erin, who previously took home the  and  Award. 

The pair looked in good spirits as they chatted away and hugged backstage. 

Elsewhere during the night, an as his show Adolescence broke records at London's Royal Festival Hall.

The actor, 52, revealed he had previously been nominated eight times for shows including Help, Time and This Is England '90 , before finally landing the gong for Adolescence.

The four-part show, which received a staggering 11 nominations when it was announced in March, received the most ever wins for a series as it also took home Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Limited Drama. 

Adolescence, which was created by actor Stephen and writer Jack Thorne, tells the story of British teenager Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper), who is found guilty of murdering a female classmate after being sucked in by the manosphere online. 

Each episode is filmed in one continuous shot and has been widely praised for addressing topics such as online radicalisation and misogyny. 

During his acceptance speech, Stephen, who played Jamie's father, said: 'I might take my time. I've been nominated eight times and this is the first time I've won. I'd like to thank all my fellow nominees. Especially our James and our Ellis, both of you are magnificent. When I was a kid, I watched a television programme called Scully, written by Alan Bleasdale, and it had the wonderful Drew Schofield in it. 

'He lived across the road from my nannas house so he showed me then that I could be on the television. Drew was such a wonderful man. He was my inspiration so for any young kid, no matter where you're from, anything is possible.'

Owen, 16, who has made history by becoming the youngest winner of the Best Supporting Actor award at both the Golden Globes and the Emmy Awards, continued his award-winning streak as he took home the BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor.

The Netflix series also won in the Limited Drama category, beating the shows; Fought The Law (ITV), Trespasses (Channel 4) and What It Feels Like For A Girl (BBC Three).

Code Of Silence scooped Best Drama. It follows Rose Ayling-Ellis as Alison Brooks - a deaf canteen worker who uses her exceptional lip-reading skills to help police investigate a dangerous jewellery heist.
